will not be able to make it, but rob's brother will be there in my place. i will be going out to the west coast for the 49er and raider games and first trip to dallas for the eagles game.

hey, this could get kind of expensive. good thing rob will let me stay at his apt.

Congrats Pittdawg! Sounds like you're going to have a fun fall traveling around the US and watching your son play for America's Team. BTW, I'm a Notre Dame fan and enjoyed the 42-21 pounding that Weis put on the Panthers. Rob did beat ND in his last year in a great game though. You must be proud.

i'm also a huge ND fan. was just waiting for a few pitt players that i've grown fond of to graduate, however the way they are playing, i don't blame the players, i might have to accelerate my transfer to ND fan again for this year.

I hate Notre Dame with an unholy passion, Pittdawg, (Boston College alum), but Charlie Weis doesn't look like he just lucked out those two games.

He will install pro style schemes, and once he starts recruiting... watch out..with all his contacts in the pros, even more reason for a good recruit to choose ND.

Rob did great on Sunday....was wonderful to see him so immersed in the moment..not just his play, but his interactions with his teammates.

Pittdawg,
Have you heard anything from Rob about how they view the Commander rivalry? Do the young goes know much, or even care much about it? I am really curious to see how it is viewed from a player's stand point today.

I don't know if anyone asked you this yet. But were you a Steelers fan before you became a Dallas fan ?

That's good to know. Come back to ND. I see you only started to root for Pitt when Rob went there, that's understandable. You can be a fan of both, except when they play eachother. Did you go to any of Rob's games in South Bend? It's a great campus.
