If they want to roll with Moore, fine then. But, they better not lose Rush due to having walleye vision for that sorry QB :(

Let Kellen go through waivers, no one will pick him up. I would rather lose with Rush than Moore, at least there is upside there.

The staff I think likes the smarts Moore brings and that is a valid point if all other things were close
But Moore is playing poorly and you have a chance to keep a young guy who may be raw but has solid skills
Also I think you can cut Moore and get him back if you need him
That last game may be huge for rush to force himself on the roster

Moore kind of reminds me of an over the hill Brad Johnson.

He is quick to check every down, can't move around in the pocket well.

The problem with saying Moore is facing better players or has less supporting staff is the fact that Rush has done it with whoever he has on the field. It's not like Moore has been good and then they move some players out and then they struggle. Rush took the same players that Moore sucked with last night and went right down the field.
Oh please...Lenior dropped 3 balls..Rod Smith dropped a ball...add those to KM's stats..it's not KM fault that people can't catch a football...

Oh please, you aren't even remotely rational on the topic. Moore has sucked in two games in a row. No debate. And that doesn't even consider the fumble. Who you blaming his fumble for a TD on? He had almost 5 seconds before he got the ball swatted out. Great college QB, but he is like so many other system QBs that can't cut the pros. Timmy Chang, Ty Detmer, Kliff Kingsbury...etc.

Cooper Rush is a big time player....and he acts like it. He does not shrink in the lights. I would go with him over Moore if it came down to that. I know its risky and the FO would be sticking their neck on the block being that this team could be a SB contender, but its Super Bowl or bust and I don't think Moore gets us there. so keep the kid. If not, he will be snatched up quicker than an NY minute.

Even if you go with Rush they're still going to want a vet who knows the system in the QB room.

maybe he is facing slightly better players....but he is also playing with slightly better players....I want to see Rush start the game, and Moore afterwards....let's see what happens!...:)

Hate to say it-- but virtually the entire FO has backed Moore up. They liked him as a backup last year until he got hurt, and they are continuing to voice their trust and support for him.

All it will take is a better performance from him next week, and the "controversy" will be over.

If they really like Rush-- then the guy that will get cut to keep him is McCown.
Linehan got him when he was in Detroit and when he got here, he brought him to dallas. With that said, I hear there is talks about Moore and if he should be part of the team. that's why I said, the only way to know is put him as #2, lets see how he does.

then make him into a coaching apprentice. he doesn't have the arm, the vision and ability to execute. I am smart, but I am not fit to be an NFL QB.

well, Rush is playing with lesser players, yet they are able to manage catching the balls. is it perhaps Moore is not that accurate. or that good.

Yah... next outing is HUGE for Kellen. If he struggles again it will definitely add more pressure on the coaches to make a change.

Here's the problem.

Moore can call the audibles and recognize the defense. He can get out of bad plays, which a QB has to be able to do. He can check out of disaster.

Cooper is far more complete as a physical QB, but he's not ready to read complicated NFL blitz schemes and audible into the right play.

Keep them both.
