This year they can have 3 and not count against it, that does start this year correct? They basically put this rule in affect because of the free ride the Eagles got in the NFCCG..
Not exactly. IIRC all 3 need to be on the 53. If so that allows the 3rd QB to not have to be on the game day roster but can still be activated if the other two both get hurt. Key being must be on the 53.

:hammer:  You are correct and this but this is the odd thing the irony is really thick that there are some fan base out there on Facebook social media that still says if Cooper rush would have started against the 49ers we would have won that game that's how snowed over they are with that five in one record.. Just like you remember that year Matt Cassel went 11 and five with the New England Patriots right he's an 11/5 quarterback right?? lol :facepalm:
What you fail to realize is when Dak plays that poorly he is replaceable. Sure if the NFC east regular season Dak showed up they might have a chance. He was choking so bad he was hesitant to even throw the ball. When he gets like that he is worthless.
What can it hurt to stick Cooper Rush in for the second half. Nobody likes musical chairs at QB but maybe just maybe SOMEBODY can make a play. Staying with Dak wasnt working and everyone road that sinking ship to anger. Don't forget the frustration Parsons showed about Dak. Dak looked worse than Rush. At least Rush gets rid of the ball quicker and that's what was needed.

sure, the eagles defense made Rush look horrible but the better SF defense he would've rebounded, you dont like Dak thats fine, stop selling Rush.. you dont win that game with a worse offense then what we had which is what we had when Rush played... those are just the facts. If you can show me where the offense was more productive with Rush than Dak show me.....in every production metric the offense was worse with Rush again those are just facts.

I'm not selling Rush. What I'm saying is this offense went completely into a shell and was terrible BECAUSE OF DAK! He was choking so bad that he couldn't get the job done. What harm could it of been to take him out and give Rush a shot. At halftime of that game Dak had played like a 3rd string QB.

What exactly have you seen from Rush under pressure that makes you think it would look better? he was under pressure in 1 game he played and threw 3 picks.. Dak looked bad the defense would've made Rush quit football.

Seriously the thought process on this is bewildering... the Oline couldn't block a 4 man front, they doubled CD, Zeke was getting less than a yard a carry..and SHOCKER Noah Brown couldn't get open... what should we do, I know lets put a less mobile worse arm QB in and see how this goes...why? Im sure Andy Ried was thinking to himself when Mahomes was getting killed in the SB, "Hey I know maybe a less talented QB can handle this better, lets try that"..jesus.

Dallas has "interception Dak" this year with Martin and Smith blocking for him
what could go wrong?

so Dak is worthless, but noodle arm Rush would do better? against a top notch defense like Niners.

under control ??? seriously :lmao:

what exactly did you watch during that stretch? yes the team's five and one with him back there that four in one record last year he had two interceptions called back in washington, I don't care official or not I saw them get easily picked off had it not been for a penalty, he had two fumbles in the Rams game with 107 passing yards LOL that we recovered, those count even getting them back. 3 interceptions in the Philly game.. p under control, no mistake football is an absolute exaggeration....

the man got lucky we had a team that in three phases of football was playing out of their mind elite ball around him... Prescott gets back they start fumbling on special teams, the defense starts giving up 200 yard games, starts blowing leads on the road... I mean let's let's calm down Cooper rush was not careful with the football, he got lucky.

Marched them downfield brilliant drive beat the Vikings . You must have missed that one . Night game . Maybe you didn’t stay up . 5-1 as a starter . Results .

Rush can hold it down. No worries there. He's proven.
Read some good things about Grier (including mobility). if Grier could be trusted, Cooper Rush could be worth something on the trading block BUT personally, I'd rather stick with the known quantity in Cooper Rush

Oh really? All I know is he has 3 interceptions and 3 fumbles in 6 career starts. That's seems like he's turning it over. The dude bus drove his way to those wins. I guess Bubby Brister should have started over John Elway in 1998 and Brock Osweiler should have stared over Peyton Manning in 2015 because they didn't turn the ball over and had winning records. You act like he carried us to those wins. That's not sustainable over a 17 game schedule. He's a career backup bus driving QB. That's all I know and mostly all I'll ever know about Cooper Rush.

5-1. Not bad for a bus driver . Last I checked back up QB’s aren’t exactly going to Canton except as tourists .

Dak in that 49ers game was worthless. All they needed from Rush was a Purdy like game the Cowboys would of had a chance.
Rush does have a noodle arm but you didn't need Rush to chuck it down field you just needed Rush to get rid of it quick and short unlike Dak.

Backup QBs are supposed to be bus drivers. Dallas problem is the 160 million dollar man is also of the same variety.
Then don't hype up the Backup QB by bringing up his stats/record and compare him to the starter. It's that simple.

Dallas problem is not the 160 dollar man alone. Very few QBs in this league go 12-5 two consecutive years and have led the team to 3 division titles Dak has faults but he is not THE problem not even close.

Rush couldn't have Purdy like game. Rush never ever has had a purdy like game. Rush only won games because the defense gave up 13.5 points per game.

this Rush crush of trying to put him on Mount Rushmore is gone beyond ridiculous.

there is no quickness to Rush's game. it takes 15 minutes for his passes to go 15 yards down field. you live in a fantasy world or are trolling if you Think Rush would have given us a chance. if Rush started, the game would have been 26-0.

And it lands right in the receivers hands in stride.
