there were hints of all type of new plays - rpo based, spread smash etc.
these plays were supposed to play to the strength of the personnel including dak.

what did we get?
more of the same with minimal dressing.
they were not even serious with the rpo stuff.

all receivers running curl patterns.
no crossing routes or bunch plays
what gives???

This is being discussed ad nauseum in 47 other threads.

Mods need to get serious about cleaning this up, it's as bad or worse than the DC.com one was at the end

I'm sure he put in new plays, but when the crap hits the fan, it's easy to go back to what you know. That is where Garrett is failing. He needs to step in and take control of the games tempo and hold Linehan accountable.

They are more comfy with "first down, run Zeke off of right guard"

the coaches are truly mindless drones on the offensive side of the ball

Sound and fury signifying nada, hermano...

Here's the problem, they're not executing the plays well, regardless of what they are unless it's a run. What good does it do to add plays?

If these WR are getting open and he's not getting the ball to them, what plays are going to help that unless they've got some magic plays for keeping the front 7 out of the backfield and giving him time to set up?

I think there's a lot of BS coming out of this group to try and quiet the mounting criticism. "Just wait, you ain't seen nuthin' yet".

Hell the only game they looked halfassed decent in was because of Dak's legs and that quickly went away.

The question remains. Is there a critical flaw (QB) in the offense that cannot be solved this season? I am not saying there is yet but it all starts with that guy and he has to make plays, either with his arm or feet. The challenge now is there is enough film on this year's offense to arm any DC. And when it comes down to their DC vs our OC, I'll go their way every time.

Aside from bashing coaches ad naseum the main issue is that Dak has limited time with this core of receivers and the new wr’s are new to our dated system. So they have no chemistry, the timing is off, will he break right or left, etc, etc...

***These are the Chemistry Growing Pains we warned the fans about in the offseason.***

Many scoffed and now many are confused or amazed at the lack of success...

The problem i have with these coaches is you shouldnt have to have the world tell you “youre running the same crap” before you change it

You should be able to see it, its kinda what you get paid to do. The world doesn’t have to tell a boxer to guard the left side of his head after the 15th concussion you should know
