He wouldn't have dared do it on NFL network or website. He thought he could talk nasty with his Philly homeboys on local radio...and it would be their little inside laugh.

Silly him!

I'm shocked people are calling for his job. That's crazy!

Why? Do you think it's ok to call on people to intentionally injure someone? What if it ended Zeke's career or cause some type of permanent damage. Decent fans should never wish injury on anyone. So called "professional" anaylist, experts in the public eye or otherwise, going for so far as to call on people to purposely injure someone is taking it to a whole new level..perhaps even criminal.

This is serious stuff and should be treated as such.

That's exactly what happened. He was in scumville. He let his guard down and spoke his mind seeking approval from his fellow scumbags. He just wasn't smart enough to realize what he was doing to himself professionally.

National stories around the country coming in...and doesn't look good for him. It might be a good time for him to update his résumé.

Fox Sports references his "bizarre rant" while Washington Post writes, "Brian Baldinger, call your office."
Keep us posted.
Absolutely uncalled for!!!!

No, it's not serious. Is he their boss? Does he now coach the Eagles? If a person in a position of authority said it that would be one thing, but last time I checked Baldinger doesn't have any control over what the Eagles do. He doesn't influence the team in any way, so if he suggests they take out Zeke in a radio bit it's not actually a threat to Zeke. It's make believe.

I do I think that is insane. its a much different issue but no I do not think players should be suspended for that long for smoking pot. I bet 10% of the fans in every stadium are sitting in their seat after getting high in the parking lot on Pot/Beer/alcohol.

but again I do not think baldinger deserves any punishment or anything.

He deserves the same harsh treatment the players and coaches receive for spouting the same nonsense. Especially so given he is representing the owners as part of the NFL network.

Dudes need to be careful when going on the radio. When Jim Mora was head coach of the Falcons, he went on a buddy's radio show in Washington state and joked about a college job being his dream job. After a losing season, he was fired. Arthur Blank didn't like being embarrassed by Mora. The NFL Network may feel the same way about Baldinger.

He is an employee of the NFL and he is advocating purposely injuring a player that plays in the NFL. We just have to agree to disagree.

Todd Herremans is here filling in for Baldy.

That's what I heard this morning on their morning show.

Suspension?
