While Baldinger is not playing, and the Eagles haven't shown any signs of being attached to that declaration....this should be enough to place a can of whoop #$# on the field to keep the gas on the pedal for the 'Boys.

Most importantly, when players like Dez get vilified from the media, mainly for headlines and rating....the foot should come down on Baldy by his peers too. NFL Network should sit him down.

That will give him time to have that finger repaired.

The more I think about it...I think the odds are at least 50-50 he gets fired.

The league has massive exposure to litigation surrounding concussions and injuries.

Yeah, if I was him I'd be worried. 10 years ago this probably isn't as big of a deal but it's still scumbag behavior no matter what date on the calendar.

I'm just glad the media picked it up so everybody can see what kind of dirt bag he's always been.

You would think that the league being involved in more and more concussion litigation, they would fire him, just for PR.

The league likes controversy but not this flavor.

It's not just PR... there could be legal ramifications down the road.

Lawyers are scouring the world to build a case that the league is negligent or that the league creates a culture of risk...can grab this as another exhibit.

It was not only classless....it was so incredibly stoooopid of the guy to go there.

Baldinger is a trog meathead that offers nothing that would ever be missed. Easy sacrifice if the league was smart.

Baldinger went full Eagles homer on 97.5 today. Said Ezekiel Elliott's arrogant. That's why he dressed that way at the draft. He isn't really in the NFL until he "gets hit by an Eagle". That the Eagles need to hurt him and a bounty would be a good idea.

It was as unprofessional as I always knew him to be.
I hope the Cowboys run the ball down the throat of the Eagles. And it's a death by a thousand cuts!!

Brian Baldinger: Eagles should put a bounty on Ezekiel Elliott

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made clear that bounties will not be tolerated when he cracked down on the Saints in 2012. So it will be interesting to see how the NFL reacts to an NFL employee urging a team putting a bounty on one of the NFL’s brightest young stars.

That’s what happened when NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger appeared on 97.5 The Fanatic and said that on Sunday, the Eagles’ defense should be trying to injure Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott.

“This is the guy that that we’ve got to hurt,” Baldinger said of Elliott. “This is the guy that we’ve got to take out of the game. There’s got to be 10 guys that want to hurt him every single play. In fact, we may even put a little bounty on Ezekiel Elliott.”

Baldinger also echoed a favorite phrase of Gregg Williams during the Saints bounty scandal.

“You want to cut off the head to kill the body, that’s the guy you’ve got to get to,” Baldinger said.

Blimey!
If he still has a job on Monday, I will be dismayed.
I guess things could be worse for Brian, like not wearing a required pink ribbon and tie ...
