Baldinger went full Eagles homer on 97.5 today. Said Ezekiel Elliott's arrogant. That's why he dressed that way at the draft. He isn't really in the NFL until he "gets hit by an Eagle". That the Eagles need to hurt him and a bounty would be a good idea.

It was as unprofessional as I always knew him to be.
...Oh no he didn't. He better ask somebody. It just got real.

sorry maybe someone else can do this better but im gonna try...

they replayed the audio...

they were just trying to figure out if baldinger can be punished/or reprimanded for referring to a bounty. they wanted to know who owned nfl network/or the business he said it on and someone texted him that the nfl owners own it and so they mentioned that they can just send a letter and either have him get rid of or slap his wrist with a warning. something like that.

they were pretty surprised when he said bounty. everything else was okay. but when he mentioned bounty knowing how charged that term is in regards to philly and dallas that it was in bad taste.

some dude on 105.3 (rj choppy? gavin?) mentioned that maybe baldinger was trying to be in character but it was still in bad taste.

I would expect nothing less out of any eagles supported mediot or their fanbase....both are equally dilusional, they do after all have a statue and praise a fictitional character.
...Just like the can who sat courtside and double fingered the basketball player for making a basket in Philly the other night. Typical behavior.

We can show em better than we can tell em.

What a jerk off. Totally unprofessional and out of line. He is basically advocating injuring a player.

I think Zeke sent his message via the Seattle pre-season game.

For those who might be a little younger - you can't imagine what it's like in Philly on Dallas week. They are frothing at the mouths, almost insane with jealously. I remember in the 90's we had a Monday Night game there right around Halloween and a local station started their live pregame TV show at 8:00 A.M. in the morning...in the morning!

People were drunk off their *** in the background screaming how they were going to kill us, flipping the bird, nooses with Aikman effigies, etc, they were animals. It was as nasty and vile a live show as I've ever seen.

We won 34-0. :lmao:

In character?

This isn't pro wrestling, and Baldinger is playing a heel. Hell, he's not even the host who manufactures schtick. He's a guest.

Oy.

Dope the play the clip on the loudspeakers during pre-game. All the while playing videos of Reggie white getting abused and crying on the sideline.

Then play it again at halftime

agreed. struck me as odd. not sure what he ment by it but maybe he thinks baldinger was going on some sort of soliloquy or monologue to fire up the troops/pep them.

About five or six years ago, on another Cowboys website, I suggested something to the effect that Baldinger was an Eagle homer who holds a grudge that Dallas released him and was put off for suggesting as much. This news comes as sweet music to my ears for what happened way back then. It is, without a doubt, music to my ears and the best news I've heard all day. Sweet vindication, after all this time . . . ;)
