I like Schultz but he is no longer needed past this season. His cap space is needed elsewhere and just take the solid comp pick that will come back for him.

I'm really liking these two rookie TE's. Hendershot, I'm not going to jump the gun on anything but he looks like he could really be something if he continues to improve and Ferguson had quite a few of those "wow, this guy wants it" plays too. Very promising early signs from these guys. I know we had that mistake where he didn't go down, and that's costly if done at the wrong time again, but I think you could see he knew what he did and he's a Rook so... it happens, he was trying to make a play. Just better get that drilled into his head next time.

Fergie and Hendershot were so effective in blocking game that Cowboys not running any Jumbo/Hulk packages which Cowboys ran when Schultz was in lineup.

Now? I was calling for a vet and letting him walk this past off-season instead of the franchise dollars. Impossible to know what could have happened in the draft but you roll the dice sometimes.

Didnt think Hendershot will be a good blocker but he is already better than Whiffer Schultz.

What’s strange is that was the knock on Schultz coming out of Stanford. He was a good blocker and less than average in the passing game. Fans didn’t want him since he wasn’t a Gronk type TE. Maybe he realized the NFL doesn’t pay big money for blocking TEs.

Hendershot had a couple of bad penalties but he seems like a player. Ferguson is definitely a player.

Smith, as someone mentioned earlier, just jumps off the screen on these highlights though ....love the kid!

I like Hendershot a lot.

IDK i didnt watch tape of him yet. Its just the way he behaves and he always seems to get free.
He has something like edelman to him. Too slow, too small, too whatever but when you watch him play he looks great.
