If they play him, they're idiots. They have two exceptional starting quality backs that are at 100%.

For those too lazy to click the link

Written by Marion Barber, Wednesday September 23 2009 It was crazy playing in our new stadium on Sunday. I was in awe the whole game. The whole time during warm-ups I was just looking around and kind of checking it out. It reminded me a little bit of a college atmosphere with so many people in the stands. You can see that screen above you on the sidelines. It’s pretty crazy. I’m gonna see if I can get Mr. Jones to hook me up with one of those for my house.

It’s always good to have guys that can step in and play well when needed. Felix Jones and Tashard Choice are both really good backs. But my leg feels good and I’ll be good to go next week.

We play Carolina at home on Monday Night Football, but it’s just another game. Nothing really changes in terms of our approach just because it’s a Monday night game. The goal is still to go out and win. It’s definitely important to come back with a win after that tough loss. At the end of the day that’s all it comes down to, getting that W.

Marion Barber is a running back with the Dallas Cowboys. His blog for www.playerpress.com runs at www.marionbarber24.com.

They would be silly to play Barber. The way he fell.. you could see the pain. Plus, Choice and Jones are both 100%. Why rush him back? Let the vet sit the bench for a game or two.

And who is to say he's not going to be 100% ready to go by Monday? I have a feeling that injury looked worse than it actually is.

Yeah, and he was fine to play last year when he was injured. Except he played like crap and we were too scared to put in a guy that ended up averaging over 5 yards per carry.

True that! In the interview on DC.com, he talked about how he's had the same injury before and he didn't think it was that bad when it happened (the idiotic reporters never followed up with a question about if he played the following game the last time he had the injury).

He also said it felt like a bad cramp. Not like a broken leg the way some people on here seem to think.

you knew it hurt like a ***** too cause he was gonna score on that run if he didn't get the strain or cramp or whatever it was.

"marion" just joined today, and ive never even heard of this website...why wouldnt he just have a twitter like everyone else, if he wants everyone to know hes good. Instead he just "joins" some unknown website

still, i think hes got a good chance at playing

Bravo to Barber for the toughness, but there's no need to take any chances in losing him for a long period when there are two others that can fill in just fine. I do think the staff will use him sparingly though and give the bulk to either Felix or Tashard.

I dunno, it's also linked from his homepage www.marionbarber24.com. If it's on there, then chances are, he wrote it, or at least approved it.

It probably went something like this.

Wade: Barbarian, you are hurt. I dont want you to play the next game.
Barbarian: No, I think I will play coach.
Wade: Ok, buddy. You do what you want :)
Barbarian: Yeah, we know that around here.

Out.

Noooooo!!

Of course he "wants" to play because he doesn't want to look like he's babying another injury. This is a bad idea. we have two backs more than capable of being contributors. Barber needs to heal slowly and come back full strength. He needs to sit out until the Falcons game. That will give him 4 weeks to properly heal.

If Felix is 100%, why the hell is he getting 6 or 7 touches a game?
