Barber says he is going to play Monday

This is not a bash on Felix at all. I love the guy. But I don't think his top speed is all that impressive. I never have thought so. However, he is VERY quick and able to get to that top speed faster than everyone on the field. But once there the others have a chance to catch up which is why I believe he was caught from behind in the Giants game. He is still an invaluable weapon that I wouldn't want to lose

I would not want Barber to rush back and re-injure himself.

But if he is ready, ... it's on!

If I were the coach, I would make him prove it to me in practice though.

Maybe 4-5 40 yd sprints, .. set up some cones and make him manuver and weave through them, etc.

If he shows that he can do, then let him do it.

I wouldn't just take his word for it though, most guys would play hurt just to get to play.

He would have to show me he is ready.

He got caught on that long run because both DBs had the angle on him. He had to veer away from one guy, which caused him to lose speed and that actually took him right into the path of the other DB.

If Felix could've continued his straight path after bursting thru the first line of defense, it would've been a TD easily.

I agree. None of us are in a position to know how Barber is and to an extent a coach is not going to know until he puts that player to a test. For me if it comes down to a game time decision then that is easy he does not play. If he is showing he is ready to go in todays practice and tomorrow then he plays.

I wouldn't play him if I had any say in it.

...he would be taking a seat on Monday.

This is a real good opportunity for the Cowboys to find out what they have in Tashard Choice and Jones when the defences will be keying on them.

It's a long season Barber. Pull a ticket and take a seat.

It comes down to if MB3 is healthy enough or not.

If he can go, he should go.

If there is any question, then he should sit out this game.
