Why? who would you rather have? Adrian Peterson? sure he is having a great "year" but one year is nothing in the NFL, how many countless RB' have had a great first year and then stumbled (JJ for example) he gets my vote for Rookie of the year, but if I had to choose between barber and Peterson, hands down MB gets my vote, just my thoughts...what do you guys think?

id like to see Barber to be one of the RBs, and I think he will be.

but if you would honestly take MBIII over AP, youre crazy.

I love your enthusiasm man but if I had to choose Barber or Peterson I'm going with AP all day he's a special elite type back. Dont get me wrong I love me some MB3 but AP is a beast.

This might sound sacrilege, but I'd put Brian Westbrook in over Barber.

AP
Westbrook

then Barber

Peterson, Westbrook, than Barber. Three make it though, so Barber will probably still be in.

eventhough Peterson has great explosion and vision, looking at the play when he got practically crippled by the packers defender, it looks like he seems to always run squared hoping to run over the defender, I can see him getting many injuries in his career, resilient RB's like Emmitt and Sweetness were more elusive than Peterson in their running therefore escaping the big hits which prolonged their careers, you will see Peterson getting hurt every year because of his running style, he reminds me of Bo Jackson , and we all know how that turned out.....

Yup, that's the way I see it as well. The players and coaches respect Barber's ferocious running style so I think they will vote him in.

I hate the eagles but you gotta love great running backs I think Westbrook is one of the great NFC running backs, I voted for him too, I think he gets the shaft all the time....

I know many people do otherwise, but shouldn't you be voting based upon what the player did this year?

AP has had a great year and he deserves the Pro Bowl. It is as simple as that.

I hope barber makes it. He deserves it. Scoring TD's plays a big part in going to the pro bowl and he's averaging a sick 4.9 yards per carry.

Ratliff won't make the pro bowl and I doubt Tnew makes it either. The media keeps calling the cowboys secondary "suspect" so that does not help Tnew. No one know who Ratliff is outside of Cowboys fans.

Pro bowlers for sure - Romo, Owens, Witten, Ware. Ellis should definitely make it, but he's not a gimme because he's not a hot name like the others right now.

I have Barber at third behind AD and Westy as well.

But I absolutely have him above Portis. That one's not even close.

I think the last Pro Bowl spot is going to be between Portis Barber and James.

At the game on Sunday, every time Barber got the ball, the Lions fans near me started to grumble "not this guy again." They were literally cringing every time he touched the ball. He is certainly Pro Bowl worthy this year. We'll see.

Really, that is some dumb logic. If we extend that logic, Matt Hasselbeck is more deserving than Tony Romo.

That being said, I'd love to see Barber in the Pro Bowl. I mentioned this in another thread: the guy is a key ingredient in one of the more potent offences of recent times.
