That comment is ridiculous. You seem to have a problem with anything negative towards this team. There are things to be negative about and worth debate. Calling me anti-Cowboy is a farce. Did I want to go in a different direction as far as head coach? Yes I did and still do. Wade would not have been my choice, but he's decent and I'll live with it. Time will prove me right on needing a whole new direction. In in a few years, many more will agree with me if we continue to stagnate. Sorry to offend you on such a regular basis. Eh, the first year there's going to be kinks to be worked out. Wade is going to have to get familiar with players on defense and Garrett is going to have to get familiar with players on offense. Plus who knows what Garrett's playcalling prowess is. I generally find that guys who played a skill position and then work under offense their entire assistant coaching career tend to be real pass happy and neglect running the ball.

And as always, avoiding injuries is no gimme in the NFL.

Good points. The foundation for heartache is building in this thread and elsewhere. Let's win a playoff game first -- that would be the first in 11-12 years for us and the first for Wade ever (as NFL HC).

That's a pretty realistic point of view Mike.

Certainly a little better than going "ga-ga" over Wade Phillips who may or may do well depending upon many variables-- but to proclaim this to be a "Super Bowl" bound team is ludicrous.
