These injuries are forcing the Cowboys to take a look at some players at some spots many of us have been hoping for. Michael should get more touches this week. Jones should move to FS and Wilcox should slide to SS. Barry's only redeeming quality was his tackling...which was good early on in his career....but it has been down right abysmal for 2 years now.

I'd put Wilcox at SS and let Jones patrol the deep middle as FS. In fact, I would entertain the idea of running Jones as the single high safety and use Wilcox as a "rover" at LBer and blitzer.

There are, they just don't talk about the regular sprains. They're expected to play through those.

Out of the guys to be injured this isn't the worst or most devastating to the team. I like Church more than most on here, but he is a fringe starter. It may have hurt us more that he wasn't in on that kickoff.

I like Church. I like what he brings to the football field. Im always seeing him make plays, week in and week out.

Im sure Ive missed some of his missed assignments and gaffes.,......I dont go through the film, etc etc...

But from what I do see, I think he is the kind of guy you want playing on your side.

When did that happen? Wilcox has been the single high Safety the past 2 years.

If Church can not go Dallas will probably start Wilcox at the SS and Jones at the FS with White and Patmon being added in nickle and dime packages.

The team should be able to get by for now till Church returns, but another injury to the secondary would present a problem.

Yes, my calculations looking at the snap count data indicates they had 6 DBs on the field for 18 snaps in the Giants game.
