You’re the one bringing up the lame “better team” argument. When if you actually watched the players play, and evaluate their play, Dak was clearly better. Alex Smith was horrendous early in his career.
Also, you bring up that the 2015 cowboys had super bowl aspirations until their franchise QB got hurt.
Yet that franchise QB who missed 2015 due to injury, didn’t play in 2016 either, now did he? That’s right because Dak played in his place and the team went 13-3. Which makes the 2015 team argument even weaker.
Again, Alex Smith was HORRIBLE. Early in his career. His third season he started 7 games and had a QB rating in the 50’s. That is god awful terrible. Smith has 1 TD and 11 ints his rookie season. Which is god awful no matter who you’re throwing to.
Trying to blame a performance that bad on the supporting cast just doesn’t hold any water.
