Baseball is Over

Pitching, pitching, pitching. The RedSox pitching completely shut down the Rockies. The better team won.

thank god its over I cant stand the sport and I cant stand getting baseball highlights sprinkled in with my football highlights.

Baseball died of greed over 20 years ago for me. I haven't watched a game since they went on strike a long time ago. Good riddance to baseball and give me back me Sunday night football!

I wish baseball was like the Olympics and they only played it every four years.

I hate baseball these days, but I do love the Red Sox and the Rangers...

Kudos to the Sox for ending this inferior sport. I'm glad they won but nobody really cares...

They don't regulate field size? Wow, baseball really is lame. They need to put in a playclock too, some of those games last way too long.

Meh. I think one of the endearing things about baseball is it's the only team sport that doesn't have a clock. You play til it's over. :)

Sports should be on an equal playing field.

Youre kiddng right, both teams are playing on the same field.

I will say that the NL needs to get rid of pitchers batting. It is a huge advantage for the AL team in the World Series. Also Selig needs to retire, they need some fresh blood in baseball, someone willing to buck the tide and make some much needed changes.

Really disappointed in the Rocks. Didn't represent the NL AT ALL. That 9 days off just killed them, not to mention the Sox were hands down the best team all year. Grats to the Sox Nation!

I agree completely. I turn to the NFL channel when ESPN or other sports news shows start talking about baseball.

Same for me. I haven't watched a game, including the world series, since they went on strike and cancelled the world series.

They are playing on the same field during a game, but over the course of a season, if you are in Boston or NY's division where you have great pitching parks, you have an advantage over teams that have more hitter friendly parks over the course of the season.

Every game should be played on the same size playing field.

As far as your second point, I would rather see the AL get rid of the DH.
