Bashing Jerry

Since you obviously don't get my point or many others views that disagree with you, I'll spell it out.
You don't know much about GM's. You don't know who the good ones are. Your bashing can't be taken seriously because you have no idea what the criteria is to being a good GM.

Just think about a fan who only watches 1 college team play and only that 1 team for years and then goes back to tell his friends about what he sees. The fan says the QB of his college team is no good. He tells them that the QB throws atleast 15 incompletions a game. He says the QB only won Half the games he started and wasn't even the best QB on his team. Would you trust what this fan thinks?

Now Do you see what I'm getting at? You are judging Jerry based upon only watching Jerry. Your not judging based upon his peers at the same job. Most people know what a good steak taste like. But you don't believe a vegetarian when thy tell you which steaks taste better than others do you? Would you trust them to tell you whether a steak taste better than a soy steak. Surely they will tell you the soy steak is better because they don't know what other steaks taste like for the most part.

As far as I read and couldn't care less. You aren't worth my first forum suspension, I'm saving that for Hos.

LMAO ohhh look at you. What I am trying to figure out is what your point actually is. Here is what I think it is.

Based on thirty one other GMs Jerry is great. your opinion, based on what facts? The early nineties? Switzer? The Campo era? Gailey?
Credit due? Jimmy and Parcells. JG yet to be seen. So he hit on two of five coaches we have a sample of. If you ask some he missed on Parcells, so he hit on one. You said your self that Jerry was correct that any body could have coached the team after Jimmy, so lets chalk Switzer up to just that.

QBs since Aikman. None, until Romo. Holly cow , six years with out any thing that even resembled a young up and coming QB. Not an important enough position I guess. O line not even worth discussing as of the last few years.
DBs, wonderful GM job going on there. How about our three headed RB attack? Oh wait that was Phillips fault, the coach the GM hired after his failed history every where else. Oh wait that is all his advisers fault. Even though Jerry says he has final say from socks to jocks.

Here is the problem you and I are having. You think your a wolf, I think your a joke. I think you need the respect of this forum so bad you will just go with the flow. I could care less. I state what I think and some times not what is popular with the forum big boys. Talk about sheep, your the favorite sheep on rainbow ranch in my opinion.

I even forgot to mention the NFLs most scumnag players list he's compiled as GM.

And to your comment about being me being a sheep and needing the respect of others, i rarely even look at whose name is attached to an opinion. I couldn't even name 10 usernames here for the most part and I've been here for 5 years. I don't get caught up in being liked or disliked or being on the good side of the "big boys" on this site. Hell I dont even know who the big boys are. I only know who 3 of the moderators and one of them runs this board.

I dont have any Ill feelings toward you or anything like that, it just that when I question your thought process you don't give me reasons that show me your credible on the subject. Instead you turn a discussion into a bash party.

My friend not one time during this entire thread did I act like a spoiled two year old. Figure it out. You have your opinion, I respect that. I have watched Jerry long enough to have mine. You can disrespect that. That is fine with me. You nor any one else will change my opinion of our GM.

And no I don't think Jerry is the best GM in the game. Nor do I think he's top 3. He's prob in 3-9 range. Depending on opinions of how you view the personel. One GM might think a trade is good and one might think it's not. Just depends on how you view the players involved.

You said it all right there! You said Your opinion will not change. That is having a closed mind. That's where we see things so differently. That's the problem right there. You are so focused on not changing your opinion instead of being focused on what your opinion is made of. Focus on what goes into the opinion not on defending in. That my friend is something that gives true value to your opinions.

BRING BACK HERSCHEL WALKER!!

:laugh2:

Or atleast an Owner dumb enough to trade for him again. Things arn't the way they were in 1990. Jerry needs help badly, he should of hired Dan Reeves years ago.

Jerry is a great owner, one of the best in professional sports.

He is a terrible, terrible GM. The only success he has ever had was with teams that Jimmy Johnson and, to a much lesser extent, Bill Parcells built.I do not fault Jerry for this. He has far too many responsibilities to be expected to know every player in the league, scout every draft prospect, etc. and some people just arent cut out for such work.

My issue with Jerry is that he has too much pride to admit he isnt a good GM, acknowledge he has had all of his success with teams built by men smarter than he and step down for the benefit of this franchise. He wants to win as much as any owner in football, but he wants to be right even more.

Obviously for you and other Jerry apologist, seeing isn't always believing.

Try removing the marbles from the mouth, first. Then what you are trying to say won't be garbled.

Ok fair enough. So I did some checking. Forbes article from 2009 was the latest I could find about GM rankings in the NFL. Jones wasn't listed in the top ten. I doubt he moved up after last season.

On another list I found Jones was listed sixth ahead of Polian,Colbert and loomis. I call bull crap.

Another has Jones at fifteenth which I would agree with accept they had the Commanders and Cardinals one spot ahead of him.

So two don't even have him in the top ten and another has him ahead of far better GMs than he could ever be.

Now, he is listed as the franchise worth the most but we all already knew that. I would rather watch my favorite team win games though, maybe that's just me.

No matter how much the pie hole trembles, it just doesn't seem to say anything.

But if you were trying to add on anything with an insult with Jerry...it's just another low character insult from a dirty mouth.:thumbdo: :draw: :D

No, not at all, you mirror nothing. But you do repeat your shallowness.
