Solari is a dinosaur.

There is one elite OL coach we have had since Tony Wise and that is Callahan. We made sure we burned that bridge before he left.
Solari has much respect in the NFL.

He wears the Ring too.

I thought this was the plan all along. With Tyler and Martin at OG, Beebee’s best shot is at C and to take over for Martin or Tyler if on gets hurt. So it’ll be Guyton at LT. Basically LT to RG will be really solid starting two rookies and second year LG. Down the road they will need another C or OG to replace Martin. RT could be upgraded too. Then again Nathan Thomas could be the swing T or take over at RT if he develops. Good year in the draft for the OL.

They've already moved Nathan Thomas to OG.

Competition is a good thing but in the end, I see Beebe as our C for many years to come.

I expect Beebe to be starting Center in the opener in Cleveland. May the best man win however.
No doubt,,, things often shake out differently than people expect, lets hope TC reveals pleasant surprises and all of these guys are future pro bowlers at center or guard.

Is Center the 2024 version of LB-- a bunch of guys playing out of position?

Bass really wants to start so the Cowboys are letting him compete at center for now. But he might have to bide his time until Zack Martin retires or leaves because I think that's where the Cowboys want Bass long term.

In an ideal world the long term O-line (2025 on), left to right, is Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, Cooper Beebe, T.J. Bass, and Terence Steele.

https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/solari-on-guyton-beebe-changes-bass-in-new-role

Bass acquitted himself exceptionally well in his first season, especially when you factor in the variables that forced him onto center stage alongside Brock Hoffman (2022 UDFA).

The key phrase here is "center stage", because while it was expected that Hoffman would battle Beebe for snaps in the middle, Solari made it clear that Bass is also one to watch there.

"We're gonna work him at center," said Solari. "He wants to start, so he's gonna compete at the center and at the guard position. That versatility is so important to have — a second or even a third center going into games. With limitations on how many offensive linemen you can dress, it's a critical factor. It's really important, and he's been studying that position.

"But until the pads come on, and we get in that game-like environment — we're looking forward to that. But, right now, he's in position to learn the offense at center."
When you have that many competing. It means you have none.

-Agree- (but Nathan Thomas could change their minds)
I think it was Broaddus who said that he was told that Bass is a better RG than left.

Added versatility and depth, especially per game day active number roster.

and camp and preseason best time to train as such.

I like the Nathan Thomas pick too, he reminds me a little of Ron Leary. I believe Leary was a college tackle that moved to guard in the NFL.

We are good evaluating OLine talent. Therefore we should never have an excuse not to have a good OLine. We need to trade for Dline talent. We have no idea what we are doing. Seems simple to me.

Hug to you bro.
I think he kinda sucks.
Others here are confused by his muddled resume that includes many different stops.

Check his oline rankings for 7 years prior to Dallas.
Those numbers don't lie.

So much respect he was completely out of the league for a few years before Dallas hired him in 2023.
Solari is garbage.
Him, Schott and McFraud are the main reason both scheme and execution of said oline scheme suck at their core.
