BCS rankings

Question:

If the Coaches Poll and Harris Poll come to their senses and rank Texas back ahead of OU than would Texas stay ahead of OU if both teams win out and Tech beats Okie State?

I don't think those polls even matter any more I think they just go off the BCS stuff.

The Harris and Coaches poll get factored in to the BCS formula.

some are saying there is a chance for florida and ou in the title game... *pukes* ou can score, but florida would run all over that silly sooner defense

OU doesn't know how to react when someone stops their Offense.

They can bully you around if you don't have a defense. If you do have a defense than you have a big chance of winning against OU because they can't stop a balanced offense.

hmmm I don't remember what makes up the BCS anymore it pisses me off so much every year its pointless IMO.

Well its certainly nice to see the horn fans hating on Oklahoma and obsessing over them like the Skins do the Cowboys. We laugh at the Skins fans who do this, im sure of. :)

You beat Oklahoma already. Why are you still talking about them?

Nobody cares about Oklahoma.

Carry on.

Hell I'm pulling for OU and I'm a die hard Horns fans. Right now OU can be Texas best friend since you have Texas Tech on your schedule. Texas will need a tech loss or 2 to get a chance at the big 12 championship and I'm hoping the Sooners and Cowboys can do the job.

sooners look good, but always fold like a cheap deck of cards.

sorta like UT did against Tech?

I thought they took margin of victory and strength of schedule out of the factoring when doing these rankings.

the computers dont use strength of schedule or margin of victory........but u know the AP and Coaches poll does. Humans will show some favor towards a team that is dominating.

Still even if you ignore those two things.....LSU and UGA were still top 10 when ** beat them....so that should give them some favor.

Wow, that's so stupid it's beyond description.

and what I quoted wasn't? UT has won the conference how many times? So who is exactly folding like a cheap deck of cards?

When UT loses that's not a fold, only OU. Great logic...

how did UT fold? UT fought back in the second half and took the lead with 1:30 left in the game. On a night where their offense was not in sync and their defense struggled, the still found a way to get the lead late. That is not folding.

Folding is what they did against KSU last year and the year before. Folding is what they did against A&M last year and the year before.

Folding is what OU and ND do in bowl games.

OU had the lead, double digit ones, several times in that game. Then they got beat by 10......that is folding.

UT had the lead at the end and folded...
