I have no problems with the top 3 teams and think each one has a good argument to be named #1. One thing for sure LSU or Bama will drop one since they will have to face each other. Loser gets bumped down and the winner will get quite a few #1 votes

Don't forget OU at OSU in Stillwater later this year... 2 of the top 4 will be a 1-loss team...

I think that is a HUGE advantage to Wisconsin... not sure how they can lose in the regular season this year, although it could happen...

Go Boise State! :)

I agree... the more undefeated, the better, although we all know the powers that be could care less about Boise.

If Stanford can get by Oregon, then you likely have two undefeateds in the Rose Bowl in Stanford vs. Wisconsin. That assures two undefeated high profile teams at the end of the year...

Wisconsin/Stanford winner would have a legit claim... especially Wisconsin...

Stanford vs Wisconsin. I would love to see that game.

I would love to see BSU vs OU too. I bet that would be fun to watch.

I agree without a Big 12 Championship game that could end up being the Big 12 Championship. OU vs OSU I still think in the end though that either Bama, LSU or OU will win the NC

i think boise, wisconsin, and stanford are all better than OSU and should be ranked accordingly

It seems to me that we've already seen a couple weeks of "the top 10 remains unchanged" this season, much moreso than in the past. I think we could see an unprecedented situation of 4 undefeateds from major conferences, and that doesn't even include a Boise State or Houston. I think the SEC (Alabama/LSU) and Big XII (OU/OSU) will each have an undefeated. I don't see anyone beating Wisconsin. And I am hoping either Clemson or Stanford manages to win out.

It would completely expose the sham that is the BCS if they had to exclude an undefeated Wisconsin or an undefeated Stanford.

I think the timing is a bit funny the way things worked out. OU-OSU will likely be the de-facto Big XII championship, and it happens to be on the same weekend as all the "official" conference championship games. That is gonna be one hella weekend! :D

I agree unless 1 of those 2 teams slip along the way. I do think it is more likely that OSU slips up than OU but in todays college football you never know.

Been there, done that... BSU is undefeated in the all-time series... :D

I am waiting on the sooners to have their loss. Not being mean but it seems like they will look like world beaters and no one could beat them...only to get beat.

If they do win out...they will probably play in the NC with whoever wins between LSU and Alabama.

One of those top teams is likely to choke one week... happens every year...

I agree that historically speaking, top teams are likely to choke eventually, but it just seems to me that this year we are seeing more teams hanging on to their undefeated records, especially from BCS conferences.

At the end of week 9 last year, we had 7 undefeateds with only 4 from BCS conferences. Barring a major upset this weekend, we should be looking at 10 undefeateds with a full 8 of them from major conferences. That's twice as many when compared to the same point last year.

By the end of week 10 last year, there were only 2 undefeated teams from BCS conferences, Auburn and Oregon. There's just no way whatsoever this year we see only 2 undefeateds from BCS conferences after week 10. We're guaranteed to lose 1 undefeated when K.St. plays OU but I'd bet anything we still have at least 6 undefeateds from BCS conferences at that point (not to mention Boise State and Houston).

Don't want to keep bringing up a playoff system....but wouldn't this year be an excellent playoff schedule?!?!!? :bang2: :bang2:

who has Boise beaten?

Wisconsin beat a top 10 opponent in Nebraska pretty handily. I am sorry, but for me, Wisconsin is 5.

Now, between Stanford and Boise, that is a tough call...but I would even put Stanford ahead of them.

I put Boise at 7, just ahead of Clemson, who I believe is fool's gold right now.

Clemson reminds me of Cincinnati of 2 years ago. No one really considers them a serious national champion contender, but they might just escape undefeated through a weak BCS conference.
