I don't understand the BCS... How is it that Texas beat both teams going to the championship and they aren't there and Texas Tech beat Texas and they aren't there.... confusing

Are they only paying attention to the last few weeks on the voting?

Reason why OU ended up ahead of Texas is because of who OU played. OU played 5 teams in the top 15 in the last BCS poll. Texas 3. That ended up being enough of a difference in the computers. Helped that OU's offense has scored 62 a game the last 5 games against some pretty good teams. Texas' 2nd best win according to the rankings was Oklahoma State in Austin by 4. That's OU's 4th best win and it was on the road by 20.

Missouri is in the Big 12 title game because of divisions. I would prefer that they just have the top 2 teams in every conference play each other in the Conference championships and do away with divisions. Or maybe just have divisions for scheduling purposes only. That way every conference has a title game and it's a fairer field.

It sucks but it's the system we have. Texas really could have beaten OSU by more than 4 though. Multiple opportunities for Texas to score more went by the wayside. The problem for OU though in immediate future is it's defense. They cannot stop any team that is willing to punch back at them. Florida has the offense to do that as well as the toughness. In fact, Florida reminds me of Texas but just a bit more explosive on offense.
