If we get up on a&m and Mack goes into his normal run the ball up the middle for no gain and punt mode I will personally break both his arms so bad he'll never be able to clap again.

I didn't think these were released until FOX's OT after NFL...??

Dallas, you gots connetcions?

this sounds about right. i don't wanna see ou jump texas until they prove themselves on the road in a hostile environment/rivalry game vs a high ranked opponent.

yeah i agree....if OU beats OSU, especially the way they beat TT, then by all means, they deserve the #2 spot in the BCS.....even if UT beats A&M soundly.

BTW, it is about time the BCS came to its senses and put OU ahead of **....

I'm with you guys on that assumption. This would be much ado about nothing if OU can't beat OSU next week. If they do, then I could see OU eeking by Texas.

i agree with big about florida... i just don't see how you lose to an average at best ole miss and get the love---ohhhhh wait they're in the SEC.. forgot that is the greatest football conference ever to grace god's green earth and any team, including southern miss could run through the NFC East any day of the week. :bang2:

If Texas wants to get in the Big 12 game, OU must lose to OSU AND Tech lose to Baylor (ha ha ha ha), or Texas has to hope that OU wins out but stays lower than them in the BCS rankings.

it's not completely out of the realm of reality that tech loses to baylor. if ou loses then they're automatically out of the big 12 title hunt.

texas is not going to lose to aTm so there are still possibilities.

Makes me think a Texas-OU BCS Championship is perhaps a possibility, even if Florida wins out.

Eh, maybe not... it would probably take a Florida loss this weekend then them to beat Alabama.

yeah, the sec teams would have to take each other out pretty much before the SEC title. bama would need to lose to auburn, then beat florida in the title game. definitely could happen.

i really don't wanna see an ou texas NC because i think ou would beat the horns in that one. the champ of the sec has a better shot at knocking off the sooners, imo.

I was thinking it would be more likely Florida somehow loses on the road to FSU then beats Alabama in the SEC Championship.

But truthfully I don't think either of our scenarios will happen. I think the best bet for a TX-OU BCS Championship is to just hope both of them win out (obviously) and win big, and Florida beats Alabama. Then maybe through some quirk of carbon life forms voting and silicon diodes computing, Florida somehow still is not able to jump over OU into the #2 spot.

I thought about that as well, but I just don't trust the pollsters and the computers when it comes to the SEC and the national championship.

If 'bama wins out and loses to Florida in the SEC title game, I would not be surprised one bit if they stayed at 1, or only dropped to #2. The SEC lovefest is absolutely sickening. Everyone cries about OU losing to Texas, yet Florida lost to Ole freaking Miss and they're jumping all over the top 5 every single week.

Remember, Oklahoma made the '03 NC game after getting destroyed by Kansas State in the Big XII Championship.

I'm just counting on Okie State to do me a favor and upset the Goons. I doubt that will happen though.

What happens if

USC loses their next game
UT loses to A&M
OU loses to OSU
TT loses to Baylor
Bama loses to Auburn and Florida
Florida loses to FSU

does that put Utah/Boise St. vs PSU in the National Championship game?

that's exactly what needs to happen in order for a playoff to be forced by next season. lol

Regardless of what happens to OU, I think if Baylor wins, Texas goes to the Big 12 Championship game (head to head with OU)

But I think OU will be #2 in the BCS if they beat OSU. I don't know if they'll let OU in the National Championship game if they didn't win the Big 12 championship. I know it's happened in the past but don't know if it'll happen again.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Don't you know who USC's next opponent is? :D

I think OU should be #2 if they beat OSU but if they lose the Big 12 Championship, they shouldn't go to the big game.
