Romo will put up some great stats next week against the Panthers that some of you can use to argue that he is better than Troy Aikman ;)

Seriously, the Cowboys bounce back next week, put up some great stats for all the stats lovers, and all will be well in Cowboys land again.

I predict a blowout win over the Panthers, the defense gets its first sacks of the year and its first interception on the year.

I also predict, that in the absence of Marion Barber, the running game will continue to cook with King Felix and Tashard Choice carrying the load.

Wade will be fist pumping, as will Jerry, the Cowboys will be 2-1 and, who knows, maybe even the Giants will lose at Tampa. (Don't hold your breath)

Guys will be on the board here calling all the "negative nancy" posters silly, and telling us all how wise they are to remain calm and collected and all of that banter will demonstrate that things will be back to normal in here.

So, be encouraged, its only 1 small loss in the Wade Phillips/Jerry Jones era.

There are 14 more of these to go and there will be some bright days ahead.

AGREED! We tend to turn up after a dissapointing loss

You might get blasted for a post like this. I agree there will be brighter days. Now I think Jerry should have picked a lesser team. LOL. Hopefully NONE of the team sleep tonight and they are puking all night from this disgusting loss. They GAVE this game away. Romo choked, and the defense couldn't stop Grandma Lee but I think we'll get it together.

Only delusional fans will buy into that. Romo will put up some amazing stats against some scrubs to get everyone excited but when it matters most against a real team, the same Romo that played tonight will show up and lose the game for the Cowboys again and let everyone down. Same as always. Nothing has changed.

I think we'll be fine over the next few games and we should be 5-1 by the time we leave the KC game. But still we hurt ourselves with this one cause we could have got ourselves a big game here.

its the same ol cowboys, a win against a weak panthers team will prove nothing.

The story of the Cowboys season will be written in December and hopefully January. The meltdown would have happened whenever we lost the first game anyway. Doesn't matter who it was against.

sorry given the current state of this organization there was nothing encouraging about tonight except the play of the running game.

and barber is now injured and felix was fighting that quad injury plus a cramp in his calf all night.

We have to win on offense and in this division that is too tough a chore.

The ball just doesn't bounce are way.

It carries over each and every season.

I've lost all expectations for this team and I will just sit back and watch and hope they don't collapse but I don't think they can escape it.

It's so disgusting because we'll be 5-1 and I'll be sucked right back in..

then lose again the following week after that :laugh2:

I can’t do it either tonight.

Looks like the same Cowboys from seasons past.

Poor Head Coach. Gunslinger QB. Soft Defense. No Heart.

x2. I sit and watch every game, I hope they dont blow it, but at the same time deep down i KNOW they are going to blow it. it must be like being a cubs fan.

I think this might be the last year for me with Romo. This game was well on the way to being a Cowboy blow-out.

Everytime we got a little momentum going, he throws the ball to the other team.

Now I have heard the excuses about the pick on the throw to Witten. But it was so poorly thrown that I am not surprised it went the other way.

Romo is almost the anti-Aikman with his accuracy. And he is getting worse.

The defense has to suffer the errors of this man and take the slurs by fans who just don't get how momentum and rest work on a team.

This season Romo has the talent on offense to make a splash. But continued play where he forces the defense on the field without a breather causes what we saw in the late portion of this game.

I have been castigated for stating I think Romo needs to show me.

Kill the messenger all you want. But first answer this.

So, who is really wearing number 9?

Tony Romo, or...

Tony Bledsoe?

Amen... Romo will never lead Dallas to anything and Jerry Jones was a fool to give him that big *** contract.

Come on.

Every QB is off target sometimes.

Romo was nothing short of pitiful but that throw was a freak accident and you had to be at least Surprised that it got picked.

No excuses for Romo tonight though. He was awful and better fix this quick but its year 4 now and it still isn't fixed.

Not only was it a freak accident, but the ball bounced into Phillips' hands like it was a magnet or something.

AND WHY THE HELL ARE WE STILL NOT RUNNING SCREENS.

my question is if Cowboys would have won...would you guys have been saying he can win the big game? or like always when we win its because of this or that........? we all know the second after we would have won it would have no longer been considered a BIG game.......because Romo has beaten these Giants 4 out of 6 times and somehow only the wons he loses are big games......i would hardly call being 1-0 second game of the season being BIG game....

yes we lost, yes Romo looked like the south end view of a north bound horse, yes it was bad but some of you are just bending situations to fit your agenda

we better beat the Panthers...They have no defense and delhome is going through some sort of mental breakdown.
