I was thinking about the Broncos/Chargers game last night. The Broncos had a bad game. All teams have bad games. It happens. However, our defense is bad to begin with, so when our defense has a bad game it is a record-breaking-ly bad performance.

I find this to be a strange question. No team is really a playoff team until they clinch a berth. We've seen teams start hot and fizzle, and others start slow and then get hot.

Obviously the Cowboys haven't clinched a spot yet, but they do have a winning record and could be back in 1st place in the East by Sunday night. I think there's a good chance they make the playoffs, but wouldn't be surprised if they missed it again. They're a middle of the pack team right now. These last 3 games are huge.
