BE HONEST NOW: Who would you rather have at out-side linebacker?

I would put hard money on the fact that Arrington is bigger then what he is listed. Those, I believe, are his rookie numbers. He has gotten bigger.

You're right - he has gotten bigger. After three years in the league - he was 6-3, 247. Link

team sites tend to update player listings though

No, they don't; if I remember correctly there was a little controversy awhile ago about Larry Allen. I think they had him listed at 315 or thereabouts, but he was obviously around 380.

that was during the offseason, but it's well known that Larry Allen morphs into his playing weight by the time the season starts

NFL site has him listed at 6-3 255.

Wimbly checked in at 6-4 248.

Lawson was 6-5 241.

Carpenter was 6-2 256.

I suspect that the published weight at the NFL sight is probably his rookie stats because it said the same thing for his Skins profile. Not really trying to make a big production out of it. I'm really speaking more towords the combination of size and athletic ability.

Honestly, I don't believe there has been as good an ahtlete at the LB position as Arrington was, coming out, in a long time. Not really speaking about him as a football player at all. Just an athlete.

Just saw your latest post. He has gotten bigger but you are correct in that it looks as if it has been reflected in this last publishing. Kudos to you on that one Summer.

noone's really doubting LaVar's athletic prowess, just what's in his head

It's not a fair question. Lawson played DE. Arrington is a WSLB. Carpenter, a prototypical SSLB. Like they said; taking Lawson would require Ware to move to the other side and learn another position. As would Lawson. Arrington's hurt alot and thinks too much of himself. He's not coachable.
