I think Garrett would rather have these vets sit for a few days and still keep the intensity high in camp rather than back off of some practices and have the vets work through them.

I agree with that too.

They should take this one slow too. Nothing but upside in letting him sit for a while. He's already shown he'll be ready to play this season.

The Bease better not get himself injured. He seems to be a prime candidate to have a breakout year.

Alright, Beasley. Tape a salt tablet on the injury and continue a regimen of dunking the basketball.

Unless this is a serious injury, the injury probably isnt the achilles. The Achilles has very few nerves and so you don't feel pain there without some damage. Its most likely one of the small tendons around the outside of the ankle close to the achilles.

No, what happens is the tendon itself swells and gets a knot in it that is sore. Runners get it all the time.

It's sore, but manageable. Very slow to heal, but he can play with it.

Should he sit out games in the regular season? Is this something that will hamper him the entire year? I am "sorely" disappointed.

I'm beginning to hate training camp lol.

We could start camp this week and be just as ready.

Or give the starters the first 2 weeks of training camp off and let them start up around mid-August.

Jerry said it this morning.. The #1 factor for the Cowboys success this year is health. We have to stay healthy.
