Beating Washington

You can name 4 qb's better than Brees? Even in a year where he's "struggling" he still has 36 Touchdowns with 2 games to go lol.

manning, brady, rodgers, rg3.

As I said last week, given how banged up Dallas is on defense expecting them to stop NO is a tall order however if the defense can come up and make some key plays, turnovers then offense has the ability to put some points on NO.

I think you almost have to look at this as bend but don't break defense. Ware is playing with 1 arm for the most part and the ILB are pretty thin. Dallas is having to play some guys who have only been here a short time

what's so funny? he's having an all time year.

Ya 18 TD passes... to Brees 36. Romo is a better QB than RGIII at this point in his career.

4 ints... to brees 18. rg3 is having a far better year than brees.

Seems more like a product of a system limiting his throws. 36 TD's with two games to go is incredible. I don't know how anybody can honestly put RGIII over Brees right now.

With far less attempts. You can't go season to season to judge. Brees has the better resume overall.

maybe brees' numbers are inflated because of his system? he does throw the ball 800 times a game.

look at his accuracy and ypa. the 2 most important stats imo.

I've always thought David Garrard was underrated, but not a superstar by any stretch.

In 2007. He only played 12 games, but had 18TDs, 3 ints, and a 103 passer rating.
A great year, and I think they even beat Rothlisberger's Steelers in the playoffs. However, although he was asked to do more than just be a bus driver, he had a good run game as was not asked to throw 3-4 TDs a game for his team to have a chance at winning.
That is similar to RG3 this year, imo. More than a very good bus driver, for sure, but not a QB counted on to completely carry the offense.

That's a huge compliment to Griffen, btw. Garrard made the Pro Bowl and was much older than RG3 is.
With his extra 800+ yards rushing, it's hard to argue with RG3s impact this season.

rg3 could end up to be trash(he was actually decent) like gerrard did. as of now, he's a baller.

RG3 is great.

Garrard was never trash....especially given the total lack of WR help almost his entire career. He was just middle of the pack, that's all. Basically a 2/1 TD/int ratio and a respectable passer rating. But zero help.
His last year was 23, 15, and 90.5 in 14 games.
That's respectable, not more or less, by any standards.

I know this is a fan forum and all, but I think it's absolutely laughable that THIS thread has been posted during THIS week. Worry about beating Drew Brees first (like we did) before you worry about us. Truth of the matter is, we're more likely to run the table than you are with a winnable game at Philly and you guys at OUR house week 17 for a potential sweep and Division Title on the line.

Can they at least get through the game against the Saints first?

YOUR house has had a pathetic fan support and we have had a lot of success there so don't come here like your 4skins have been a powerhouse at home.

Ya, playing on the road doesn't worry me one bit. Dallas almost plays better on the road.

What is the Cowboys record at Fedex? :D

We have been better defending the deep ball as of late.

Where I am most concerned is our defense of the slot TE and WR patterns against a good QB like Romo. Cedric Griffin is out the last 4 games of this season and I pray we can get by you guys without him. Its not like our secondary was strong to begin with...

Friggin Danny Amendola had 12 catches in a half against us when we lost to the Rams earlier in the year. If I were the Cowboys, I'd look at that game plan.
