They have an idea what they have in Washington he’s been in the league for a number of seasons. The Cowboys are looking for a more dynamic WR. Everyone is having to wait on OBJ because he’s not ready to even practice yet. Some reports say he might not be ready until December. With all the time he’s missed he might not provide much help.
OBJ should be fully cleared by the end of the week, per Ari Meirov and Jay Glazer.
That was the latest update I have found, and was from 5 days ago.

If the Cowboys had upgraded before the trade deadline, this OBJ stuff would be moot. Instead, their big move was the Hankins acquisition…a part time player.

Almost all teams that were perceived superior or equal to the Cowboys roster, upgraded their personnel with full time impact players. Unlike Jerry and some here,I don’t believe they have the best roster and hope to be proven wrong…..just like the last quarter century. Maybe there’s a trend?

Who did the Chiefs "Upgrade with?" The Vikings landed a solid TE.... whoo, puts them over the top. If the Cowboys had traded away a 2nd and a 3rd for a TE not named Kelce, the front office would have been CRUCIFIED for getting taken to the cleaners, but you are in here praising all these teams that made moves?
Bills added Hines.... nothing more than an avg RB... does that put them over the top? Nobody added Charles Haley.

You wouldn't know this team is 6-2 with a top 5 D and a pretty good path to the playoffs with all of this begging for Beckham to be a Cowboy.

Do they all have to talk about everything?

This team needs to shut up and play football.
You need to do the same but watch

Kansas City traded for Kadarius Toney. He’s a really talented playmaker and is hell to bring down in the open field.

He’s been a bit of a head case but I have zero doubts that Andy Reid will get the best from Toney, who will be on his best behavior for Andy. Reid always seems to get the best version of those kind of guys.

I was aware of Toney, left him off by accident. I personally IMMEDIATELY added Toney to my fantasy team as soon as they added him. I was at the Cowboys game when he killed us for the Giants. But since that Cowboys game he has done absolutely zero...... so at this moment, the Chiefs did nothing but add a hope that they can turn the guy around.

Again, none of those teams added Charles Haley. The Eagles got Quinn.... yawn. He had 2 sacks this year. Everyone always thinks players on other teams are better than what we have. None of those teams added players that are all pro players. Could be for absolutely nothing.

Are you paying attention to NFL hires in the last 3 or so years? You see any old school hardcore coaches that dont put up with no BS? If so, point me to them.

There was a report 15 hours ago by Adam Schefter saying OBJ won’t return until Thanksgiving. Everyone is speculating. When they say return, I’m not sure if they mean a full practice or limited. Whoever he signs with it’s going to take some time to get him ready. He hasn’t played or practiced since February and if he returns too quick, he could end up pulling a hamstring or coming up with some other soft tissue injury which happens a lot when players have missed a lot of time. I think Buffalo has the best shot of signing him because they’re a legit Super Bowl contender and they’re probably willing to meet his demands. The Bills are starved for a championship having lost four straight Super Bowls in the 90s. They appear to be on the brink and give QBJ his best shot at another championship.

They are desperate, and they should be. This team needs a playoff win in a bad way. Really they need to make it to the B=NFC championship game but i'll take a wildcard win at this point.

I am on the fence with OBJ. The Cowboys have had good offenses before, but we never could make it further into the playoffs. The one bright spot is that those other past Cowboy teams did not have a topnotch defense like we have now. I don't know if he is the ultimate answer for our playoff woes.

If he comes, I hope we can open up the offense a little bit more and he can be a playmaker most posters claim him to be. That's the only upside I see in this.

I remember when guys were happy to get Roy Williams the receiver and then were crying we weren't using him correctly.

I am responding to what the poster said about the new KC WR not acting a fool while being in KC playing for Reid and I said what I said because those problem players do not act the same when they play for BB either (Moss and Ocha comes to mine). WTH are you talking about? I mentioned nothing about other coaches or what. No More Talk!

That's just what today's players do. They publicly court talent. LeBron started it years ago.
