let me first say I’m rooting hard for MM to get us where we want to go. the media has been trying hard to paint a narrative if we lose to GB, or even the divisional round, JJ should fire MM.

if that were to happen would you want BB or Saban?

I think Belichick and Saban will retire from coaching...although I think Belichick less so

Both will take a year off, and most likely Saban will just stay retired. He will show up on a college game day show. Even if just part time.

Bill, if he takes a HC position, he will not want to rebuild a team. He will take a team that is close to being ready to win. Such as Seattle, who rely needs a young franchise QB. He would not go to the mess in Washington.

Bellichick and it’s not close. You recruit in college football so that makes the field uneven. I don’t even thiink Saban is the best coach in the history of college football.

I agree with this, but I believe BB will go where he has control to build out a program for a multi year gig, if he coaches.

One was a college coach that blipped in and out of the NFL and one has been in the NFL since the Dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Give me Bill B in this hypothetical.
But I don't see the purpose. MM is the HC/OC. I don't want any OC Bill has worked with recently.

Why even bother posing the question? Neither one will ever work for Jerry, so there's no point bringing this up.

Neither…these guys are 70+ years old and if I’m going high profile I’d take harbaugh. That said MM will be back

Same thing was said about Parcells.
I would bet Jerry made promises to him and reneged on them. You have to remember - Jerry never wanted to hire Bill in the first place, but he had to suck it up in order to get support for Jerry world.
