For somebody who said he had never been asked or never had given it a thought about the footballs and he no knowledge of what they did with them or to them. He sure is speaking alot of the subject as if he knew what goes on with the process of preparing these balls. He's a liar.

I hope him and Brady keep speaking. They are incriminating themselves in the public opinion. No integrity.

IMO if I knew deep down I was playing with integrity I wouldn't give the allegations this much attention.

If NE wins they're ring will be a little more expensive since they have to engrave an asterisk in it.

This may be the best press conference ever. Still talking about filming signals in front of 80,000 fans. Just daring the league to dig in. Awesome

That's right guys, hang me now and let the investigation be completed later!
Yeeehaw

They're interviewing 40 people and reviewing all the tape they can find. This group investigating has no particular love for NE....let them do their job.

The best part of the whole presser was Belciheat saying that they never ever push things to the line. They are always cautious and err on the safe side so as not to ever do anything that might be considered questionable.

Whether he was lying or not, who knows on everything he said. But he was laying smoke today like a Destroyer hoping to cloud the issue.

He had time to do some "investigating" himself. Why is it he still has no idea who let the air out? If I were the HC I think I would be asking some equipment managers, ball boys, qbs to find out that answer. Unless I don't want to know or already know.

Big time. He basically blamed the officials saying the footballs they were given were fine, so the officials may not have inflated them properly. Or atmospheric conditions. Or game play. Or something.

His atmospheric conditions during the game excuse is blown to smithereens by the fact that the Colts balls were tested legal.

This guy is an immense cheat and liar. He got very angry when that one reporter brought up the taping scandal. His voice raised and trembled he was clearly flustered. He in one breath intimated they did nothing wrong by taping, then said everyone was doing it at the time, then said what they did was wrong and they were punished. He was flailing and gasping there.

Belichick knows they cheated and he knows they can't get caught again. He is fighting for his very football life.

If anyone thinks him being so adamant means he is being honest, remember Lance Armstrong, Ryan Braun, even Bill Clinton in the Lewinsky scandal.

Whether he was lying or not, who knows on everything he said. But he was laying smoke today like a Destroyer hoping to cloud the issue.

to me its kinda like when u where a kid and got caught in a lie you tried to tell another bigger lie to cover up the first one so the story just keeps getting bigger and bigger and worse

He's a very bad liar.

He plays the game of I'm not lying! and then he gets caught and will say Okay, you caught me last time, but I'm not lying this time! and then gets caught lying again and then says Okay, you caught me there, but you have to trust me this time.

Earlier on he basically said he had no knowledge or use for handling footballs and now he's talking about handling balls for science and trying to create an expertise as to why those balls were deflated. He's like the dumb criminal who says 'I don't even have my gun with me!' when the investigators never even mentioned that the victim was shot.

Robert Kraft is just an enabler. To the point where they were set on trying to destroy Matt Walsh's career in SpyGate and they will probably end up intimidating the equipment manager and destroy his career if he speaks out against them.

Classy organization.

Media isn't catching this, but Belichick's "tell" was his explosion when a reporter brought up Spygate during the Q and A period. He immediately defended it, said they did nothing wrong, then said everyone did it, then realized he was losing it and admitted they did something wrong and paid the penalty for it. Watch that part of his presser it's near the end. He completely reveals who he is and goes off-script. Whichever reporter brought that up should do police interrogations. Belichick was projecting what is actually happening now to the past Spygate issue.

Believe me, Belichick is lying. Lying and cheating is ingrained in him, it's such a core part of who he is he has convinced himself it is not he who is wrong but those that question his motives and tactics. He showed in that display that he didn't learn anything from Spygate and wasn't the least bit humbled by it or deterred from breaking the rules again.
