I thought Jerry Jones said the DL was the strength of this team......uuuuhhhhmm. Wonder what he considers a weakness.....LOL

Losing Bass is a BIG blow......Now we trust in Monte Kiffen to reach in his bag of track and find some magic mojo for this defense....make it happen Monte

I dont understand how losing guys (including a pro -bowl player) means that some how Jerry was wrong about DL being a strength? That's like saying because Miles and Williams get hurt, WR was a weakness all along. Jeez the Jerry hate is so strong its just flat out ridiculous...

Give Marvin Austin a call for a workout. 2nd round talent, knows the Giants defense inside and out and plays a position that is weakened. Won't hurt to check under the hood imo.

What on Earth are you talking about? You're seriously blaming Jerry for the DL injuries?

He said we had a deep DL... he didn't say it would remain deep even if we lost Spencer, Ratliff, Crawford, and Bass.

I remember everyone mocking the Giants a few years ago when they were drafting defensive linemen early and often in drafts...they have 2 superbowls because of it, smacking the number one and two seeds on the road, Dallas and Green bay, because they have a GM that understands defensive line constant pressure wins football games, the same thing Jimmy Johnson understood, where are the Jimmy Jones, Haley,Tolbert, Lett, Maryland, Henning, Jeffcoat, Casillas on this defensive line and sent them in waves and kept them fresh by rotating them, other than Ware who compares to Haley, nobody comes close to any of those players on this team.

All of our injuries (aside from Spencer, who I'm not worried about) are with the DTs, not the DEs. We have a lot of DE depth. Ware is fine, Spencer should be back soon, Selvie and Rayford have potential, anything from Wilber would be a bonus. I'm not worried about DE. Our problem is with the two starting DT positions. We have almost no one. Our only two proven starters are Ratliff and Hatcher, and who knows if Ratliff will even play this season. Our depth is a bunch of nobodies: Hayden, Cohen, Bass. We only have three healthy DTs for Sunday.....

Hahaha and you've decided that our DL sucks on your own, before the season's started, and while we have 2 starters and 2 key rotational guys out? Wow.

unless they were injured. we had plenty of dline guys. no way to predict two of your tackles would be injured
floyd has played one qtr in the pre season. you want to know why? he was injured so how would that help you

I am really not big on Floyd...But Jerry had Floyd in his sites without moving up....and then Benny Logan was avail in the 3rd......it was OPTIONS that they chose to use on WR and TE's....didnt think TE and WR was a weakess on this team but its Jerry Jones Team....

Did Dallas really need to use a 2nd Round pick on Escobar.... Don't Think So.....But hey the Cowboys still has the HERO JAY RATLIFF....LOL

didn't the Lions work him out...liked him but had some issues in college but at this point if he isn't signed, Dallas should check in to him, even as a stop gap depth..

Honestly, how does this team manage every year to lose multiple players at the same freaking position?

The philosophy and direction of this organization has been seriously flawed for 18 years now when it comes to the offensive and defensive lines, but hey, maybe you haven't figured that out yet....

Hahahaha nah bro, only you have it all figured out. Someone should tell our entire DL to just sit out the season. They're already guaranteed to be garbage because The Quest For Six said so.

Dont worry, he wasnt that good anyway. We'll be fine. If he's so good how come nobody drafted him? How come he didn't even start in college? - Mickey Spagnola:rolleyes:
