I find this interesting b/c 1. he works for the Cowboys flagship station and 2. he and Skin Wade are Romo's closest confidants in the DFW media. Ben and Romo are good friends and I'm sure he hasn't given Garrett a cosign behind closed doors.

Hey...look who responded to one of Ben Rogers tweets and look who responded to the person who responded to Ben Rogers tweet.

Romo knows Garrett is a fraud. Would love to just hear him speak off the record about the Cowboys, especially now that he works in the media and sees how great teams like the Patriots operate. When he meets with Brady and Belichick during the week before doing their game, it's probably like the difference between middle school football and the NFL when comparing it to the Cowboys.
Heck, Patrick Crayton (I know people dislike him) knows Garrett is a fraud. He said as much 7 years ago.

Romo blasted Garrett publicly like you just said, but in a very nice way. All the teams with winning records that we played... they get significantly better in the second half. We don't. That's called adjustments and our coaching staff hasn't been doing that all that well. Romo said Garrett isn't an X and O's type of guy. He's more of a motivational type of guy. In other words, he isn't bringing a scheme to the table that is helping the players to succeed. Therefore if we aren't out talenting our opposition, we lose. If that's the case, all that happens to cause us to go back to 8 and 8 mode is a couple of key injuries on the team.

Not sure I agree with the Garrett part here......My impression of Romo's statement was defining Jason's role on the team as head coach. Not that he couldn't be an X and O type of guy.........just my take
.

Maybe Romo with some behind the scenes manuvering. I'm sure that comment he made during the Chief's game was just the tip of the iceberg. IMO it was Romo's way of saying " Hey just so you were aware, when I was QB1 I didn't get a lot of X and O's help"
Yea, I couldn't believe there wasn't huge coverage and fan reaction after those comments. That was such an eye opening moment.

hope stuff like this keeps going our only hope is to get rid of garrett andhis staff

Last night on the Postgame show, a caller made the argument that the media is to blame for Garrett's long tenure owing to not holding him accountable. I thought the call was interesting because in Philly if a HC were as inconsistent as Garrett the media would be on his tail. I would love to see a wave of articles criticizing Garrett because Jerry would be forced to bite. No owner wants to walk around town with people talking trash about his company.

Even posted in the KC game thread that I noticed it- several others did as well. Very eye opening indeed. One could say Tony's still hurt by not getting his QB1 spot back, but to me he's had time to digest that by now.

I bet he harbors some resentment to Red for letting him down throughout his career by not bringing anything notable to the table.

It’s interesting because the Dallas media in years past could get ruthless with the best of em. Don’t know what’s happened the past decade.

This is very true. Andy Reid is a far far faaaaar better coach than Garrett and Philly fans ran him out of town.

Just don't see it unless we 0-6 the rest of season.......Jerry may not have a choice. I think we forget, Garrett may not be the best coach in eyes of a lot of fans but he's a perfect match for the FO ( Cowboys FO that is ).
