I think the deal with Free is a confusing one.
Like Idgit said, we heard good thing searly, and then - nothing.
And then what we see is the Cowboys deactivating the guy for the majority of the season and giving no thought to playing him even with Flozell seriously hampered by injury.
Bad sign.
But when the offseason comes, the team makes no move at tackle either in free agency or the draft.
Good sign?
Does it mean that:
A) They like Doug Free and feel that he's the team's next left tackle?
B) They're simply idiots who have no legitimate backup plan for Flozell Adams at left tackle?
I'll try to be positive and go with option A.
