Best: MNF game. Roy picking off McNabb in the final secs with Bradie knocking McNabb out.

Honorable mention: 2003 Q-Car-led Cowboys beat up on the Eagles. We hadn't beaten them in forever.

Worst: The day Irvin went down.
Honorable mention: Pickle juice game

Last years game at Philly. I don't think I'd ever seen a team put that much effort into winning a game just to be completely man handled like that. They were playing hard and you could just see the fire, they wanted to win that game, but we just kept knocking them back down.

The day Irvin went down was horrible

best moment: In my recent memory has to be of Roy picking off that pass.

Best Game: Dallas defeating Philly in the playoffs of the 92-93 season. We'd split the games with them that year (They beat us in the early one on MNF and really beat us pretty badly), and they were all talking, especially Andre Waters, about how Dallas was still afraid of them cause Dallas knew that no one put it on them like the Eagles did.

Going out there, that day, and not only beating them, but just beating them down, was beautiful. Still my favorite memory.

Honorable Mention: Halloween Night, or in that area of the year, in 1993 when Emmitt Smith beat the crap out of them for like 200 yards in route to getting back into the race for the rushing championship after missing the first 2 games.

Worst: This one is tough. There are so many. The 4th and a foot x2. The 24-0 beat down they put on us in like 1990 when they sacked Aikman something like 11 times. The before mentioned MNF beat down they put on us in 1992 (I think they won 34-7 that night, or something like that).

Best...1998 when we blanked them 34-0 in their house.

Worst...Irvin's injury. Ruined my whole season.

Best: Last year's SNF game where we annihilated them and the Linc was almost empty by the start of the 4th qtr. Big payback for getting swept by them the previous year.

Worst: Aside from the Mike Irvin injury tebacle, the '06 xmas day massacre at TX Stadium when we had the NFCE crown RIGHT in our LAPS, but came out with our most lethargic performance of the year.

I'm still very fond of the game that Bledsoe ran over them with ease a few years back. TG was in full effect and the Eagles had no answer for anything....

1995 Divisional Playoff Game:

3 1/2 weeks earlier the Eagles had beaten Dallas after the infamous 4th and 1 X2 incident.

Dallas really kind of had limped into the playoffs with a late season malaise despite blowing out Arizona to claim home field advantage.

Philly was riding high, cocksure that they could upset Dallas again, especially after destroying Detroit 51-37 in the Wild Card round.

From the opening play linebacker Darrin Smith picked Ricky Watters up and rodeoed him to the ground like a calf.

It was on! The next drive Darren Woodson knocked Rodney Peete from the game with a broken collarbone and it was over!

Deion electrified the crowd with an impossible game changing reverse and his first touchdown in a Cowboy uniform, probably his most memorable as well.

Dallas marched to an easy 30-11 victory, the lone Eagle touchdown coming in mop up time.

Dallas went on to win their final Super Bowl of the 1990s.

The worst was the 1996 game at Texas Stadium where Dallas fell into a 5-4 hole by losing a winnable game at the last minute, Aikman threw a pick in the endzone from the five yard line and as time expired Philly ran it back for a score to exaggerate the margin of defeat.

Oh yes, I remember that 1996 game. That was one of the sickest moments I've ever had in my life as a Cowboys fan.

The Irvin Injury game was bad, as well, but that's on a whole nother level of bad from just being a bad game. That's why it didn't make my list.

What about that Monday Night Game where the Eagles holder pulled a Romo and bobbled the snap.

Wasn't that where Aikman was going for Taijay Armstrong or whatever his weird name was?

I was honestly too young to remember the games from the early 90's. In recent memory, Roy picking McNabb, or the game we just rocked them with Bledsoe at the helm.

Worst, the Irvin game, and the drubbing we received...McNabb and the 11 second scramble.

The worst for me was the MNF game where T.O. was with the girl in a towel before the game.

Not because of the game itself, but about the time the game started I was just coming out from under the knife after open heart surgery. A 4-way bypass.

Glad I missed that game.;)

The 1991 game at Philly where KMart's TD punt return sealed a playoff berth is often overlooked.

Best - Last year at Philly. A complete victory that left no doubt about our team.

Worst: Irvin's career ending injury and the Philly fans cheering.

I think it was 1991 at Philly when K-Mart returned a punt for a TD was a great play in our history.

The worst game: The 1980 NFC title game. Dallas had just beaten the Falcons in an incredible playoff game. Cowboys had a ton of momentum going into the game.

Oakland (which Dallas had already beaten that year) had already qualified for the Super Bowl. Everything was lining up for Dallas to win a third Super Bowl.

What happens: brutally cold weather, unlucky blue jerseys, and Wilbert Montgomery runs for 200 yards.
Thats the toughest loss to Philly: 20-7 and it didn't seem that close.

A game I went to in the Cotton Bowl back in 1962 is known for the 100-yard firsts.

from cowboys website:

100-Yard Firsts - Cowboys' Amos Marsh returned a kickoff 101 yards and Mike Gaechter returned a pass interception 100 yards, both plays for fourth quarter TDs in a 41-19 win over Philadelphia in Dallas, It was the first time in NFL history that two 100-yard runs had been made in the same game, much less by the same team in the same quarter (Oct. 14).

Of course an Eagles fan perspective will differ from one from an opponent divional rival. That said, the best Eagles-Cowboys game is always the very next game between the two titans.

Philosophiocally speaking, the best game between the two teams have not yet been played!
