I feel left out. My alma mater doesn't have a football team.

But Barry Sanders is from my hometown!

Issiac Holt, as far as I know.

The two that have been most successful overall are Steve McNair (RIP) and Donald Driver.

My wife graduated from FSU. Deion was there when she was there. She said he was a straight, non-partying guy then too. Always had the bling though. lol

It's true. I used to have a place in Fort Myers and so I watched Deion in HS and in college. He went to North Fort in HS. He was pretty low key in those days. The summer going into his Jr. year, he transformed his image into what we saw in the Pros. After his Soph. year, he hired an agent and that's where the Neon in Deion came from. True story.

Yeah, he was one of the big 1999 free agent signings that never played a snap and ended up retiring because of bum knees, very injury prone player that was done by 29; a shame because he was good.

So the question was "who was you favorite?"

Guess I shouldn't play dumb and we should assume it's the Hall of Famer or maybe Russell Maryland?

The Playmaker by far both in college and in Dallas. When he was on his game, he was unstoppable. Coming out of high school the recruiters were all over him.

His catch to beat Florida State was incredible.

JMU (James Madison University) in Virginia: Charles Haley

And let's not forget one of our nemesis in Washington: Gary Clark.

I'm amazed that I didn't know that Haley was a JMU alum....I knew about Gary Clark. Could've sworn there was another popular Commander that graduated here as well...not sure though. I never felt any real allegiance to JMU sports, so I really haven't noticed. Something about the purple and gold colors and the dumb *** "Duke Dog" makes me want to vomit.

For the JMU grad who replied Macey Brooks...I think you are forgetting Charles Haley. Macey couldn't make it out of training camp without his testicles twisting...

Didn't he break his leg or something? I think he ended up making the Bears' squad after we ditched him.

Bob Cross, Kilgore Juna College (The Harvard of East Texas).

In "Landry's Boys" two Cowboys said it was a badly kept secret that Cross was card-carrying KKK and often voiced his dislike for ever body who was not white.
Terrible person, it seems.

This one is easy for me, because the only player I remember from my alma mater who played for the Boys was Tony Tolbert... he was pretty good, though, a very underrated DE... one of the best versus the run when he was playing...

Class of '94. Living in New England now, but originally from Richmond.

Besides Haley and Clark, JMU was home to Scott "Wide Right" Norwood of the Bills.

Also, I believe Ed Perry was drafted by the Dolphins the same year the Cowboys took Brooks. He played TE for them for a number of years.
