Ball State-
Justin Beriault (he looked like he good of been a player during his short training camp play before getting injured)

Robert Brewster- we can't draft an OL to save our lives. Hopefully this kid can produce sooner than later.

current Cowboy Courtney Brown ???

Wow I need to knock the offseason rust off. I guess Brown has been so invisible that I forgot about him. Brock Marion is still the best Cowboy that went to the same school as me.

My alma mater UNC former teammate of Greg Ellis the best player. Coach Brown had a stacked team in 97-98

Finally found one from my school: OL Lynn Hoyem played for Dallas 1962-63.

He transferred from El Camino JC to Long Beach State (CSLB now) and was drafted from there in the 19th round of the 1961 draft.

Maybe current El Camino QB Matt Simms (Phil's son, Chris' brother) will be a Cowboy one day.

Oh goodness. I graduated from Southern Miss. So I guess it would have to be...

...Torrin Tucker

at least Dallas did not waste a draft pick on him.

Williams College doesn't send people to the pros really.
But Ethan Brooks played in our OL for a little while.

There is only one player from my alma mater that played for the Dallas Cowboys

Yea how about that

Killer is the player that is right Killer Keith Davis

We have like a total of 23 players drafted or played in the NFL since 1928

So it is a miracle that we even had one play for dallas

The 3 most successful players so far

Michael Bankston
Josh McCown (was an SMU Transfer)
Keith Davis

Those guys have played the longest have the most playing time of the players Bankston lasting 10 years

Rhet Bohmar (an OU transfer) was the most recent draftee bringing us to 24
Grambling - Everson Walls,Jason Hatcher

North Texas College Teammates of mine:

1. Toby Gowin P
2. Brian Waters FB/TE (Now All World Guard in KC)

I don't know any other Mean Green / Cowboys. Although, I always thought Beasley Reece and Joe Greene would have looked awesome in Silver and Blue.

Ditto for me.

Going back to Marysville High School, we had Joe Rose who played for the Dolphins, and a fat guy who became a major league baseball umpire. I can't remember his name.

I didn't know that. I moved from SoCal to NC back in 1992 so I don't keep up with it as much. Pretty cool though!

Hawaii:
1. Mark Tuinei
2. Larry Cole
3. Golden Richards

I have not read beyond the first page, but the most recent Warrior on the Dallas Cowboys is Mat McBriar. A pro bowler to boot.

But my favorite Bow to become a Cowboy was Joe Onosai. He was a BEAST. He was Larry Allen before Larry Allen. He was smart and agile enough to play center too, could have been one of the great Cowboy OLs IMO, he was so talented, tough & tenacious. Never made it out of preseason, back injury forced him out of the game forever. Years later (it took him 2 years to recover) he was a regular on the Worlds Strongest Man competitions and he was doing this at almost 400 lbs (mostly muscle, the guy had one of the biggest chests I have ever seen). I used to watch him work out and the guy was a monster.
