Then give Austin another few years to prove himself and I'll buy your argument but over the course of his career he has not be the most influential to put on the #19 but the bottom line is your basing your argument on one productive year.

If we when by your simple thinking Austin would not even be ranked ahead of Key. All he did as a Cowboys was 141 receptions for 1820 yds and 12 TD's.

Dont you dare say that was over 2 seasons because the numbers are what they are AS COWBOYS if you use your logic
If I was argueing for someone else no one would say anything?

Seriously stop the bias im not doing anything wrong other than saying that I believe what Austin did this season wearing #19(didn't he wear #14 last year btw?) is better than anyone else to ever wear the number.

Thank you 41gy# for agreeing with my T-New statement.

because I don't have the same opinions as you, k got it.

not even close, difference of opinion is expected. Pure and unbridled ignorance is not or at least "was" not.

Absolutely would because I'm sure you would make a argument based on pure homerism and lack of knowledge and I'm sure once again you would fail to recognize the NFL existed for 74 years (72 if you count the 2 under APFA) before you were born.

I dont see why arguing that someone who had 1320 yards and 11 TDS in 11 starts is such a bad argument.

You would miss the point. It's already been explained to you using your own criteria.

T-new deserves atleast a mention

No he doesn't.

I love T-New. Really solid player. But he isn't nearly as great a corner, wearing the #41, as Waters was playing safety wearing that number.

Waters always has and always will trump T-New. It's not even close.

I go by what they did as a Cowboy.

Obviously you don't Rentzel did MORE as a Cowboy wearing that number while he was here than Miles has. If you're going by that then you need to take Miles off the #19 for at least another year.

Of course Miles has an impossible standard to live up to thanks to your craziness on the boards since you proclaimed him the greatest WR in NFL after a handful of starts.

I knew Sarge was going to point that out. :)

Great topic Hos. I might have to go through that link and post my own later on. I love this one.
