Imagine voting for Troy Aikman? A Hall of Famer with 3 Super Bowl Championships. Man, how could anyone do that?

And Roger? He merely led us to 4 Super Bowl appearances, won 2 and is in the Hall of Fame. Man, how could anyone support that?

Can't you see you should vote for Favre, or Elway, or Fouts, or Young, or host of others who did LESS than our two guys did?

Can't you see that you should be a fantasy football voter? Its stats baby. "Just put up the stats baby", that is what Al Davis used to say.

Well if others vote multiple times so will I.

Unitas is my number one QB of all time. Marino never won a SB and seemed to choke in big games. Not sure if that's really the case but its my perception. He's still a great QB and any of the above could QB my team.

The only Commanders QB who could possibly be in a greatest top-10 QB discussion is Sammy Baugh. You could argue that Sonny Jurgensen is in the top-25 but that is about it. By the time he is done, I expect Romo to be among the QBs being debated.

Actually, I rank Baugh in the top-5 based on his contribution to the game and as an all-around athlete but I've had a hard enough time keeping Otto Graham in the running, Baugh wouldn't stand a chance.

My top-5 are:

1. Otto Graham
2. Johnny Unitas
3. Roger Staubach
4. Sammy Baugh
5. Joe Montana

That ranking is not based strictly on stats (like most people rank players) but on their ability to lead, make plays, throw the ball, and win games. They also had to have that something extra. Elway is a very close 6th IMO.

As Thumper said, Baugh is really the only Commander QB that would fit in on this list. I know nothing about him except what's on his wikipedia page, but he's usually mentioned among the all time greats. I probably wouldn't have voted for him anyway for all the same reasons I wouldn't vote for Graham.
