Best sports event of the year so far (Wimbledon)

To me, a very underrated match was the Blake v. Andre match at the US Open a couple years ago when it went into a 5th set tiebreaker. They were given a standing O in the middle of a set, that was classic.

yeah. i remember that match. i believe Agassi came back from two sets to love.


the fact that it was night time at the US Open made it even sweeter

I missed the finals for both the mens and women's matches this year. But from what I gather, both were some of the best tennis finals in a while.

The Venus and Serena match finally lived up to some of the hype.

And the men's finally outshined the women's matchup for the first time in years.

Really hate that I missed them.

last year's federer/nadal match at wimbeldon was excellent too. basically, any nadal/federer match on a non-clay surface is going to be memorable.

Nadal has certainly closed the gap between the two on faster surfaces...
