Best WR tandem in NFL

4 WR sets are getting less popular in the NFL, but here are some answers. I wasn't thinking 4 on the field, just the roster.

Rams with Holt, Bruce, Curtis, and McDonald would get some votes. Bruce is done, and who's McDonald?

Colts with Harrison, Wayne, Stokley and a warm body will get some. Nameless players don't count.

Lions with R. Williams, M. Williams, Rogers, and Tai Streets could get some if Martz comes through and teaches them. Mike Williams, Rogers - are you serious??

Cardinals with Fitz, Boldin, Johnson, and Watkins could get some votes. You're fishing here. Obviously Fitz and Boldin are the best duo in the league, but top to bottom the Cards don't have 4.

Bengals with Johnson, Houshmanzadeh, Henry, and Sam are dangerous. Henry will be wearing prison stripes, not tiger stripes.

Raiders with Moss, Porter, Curry and Gabriel isn't bad. No.

I'm probably missing a couple and I didn't even throw any TE's out there who are dangerous like Gonzalez, Clark, etc. We can include TEs to favor the Commanders more if you like. Why not include RBs too? I just queried receivers.

I had to go with Arizona. Those two guys are going to be good for a long, long time. I'd take them over any other pair in this poll.

Harrison and Wayne, and it isnt close

Umm, Boldin and Fitzgerald are a better tandem than Harrison and Wayne. Lets just face facts here Boldin and Fitzgerald are 23 and 26 and are already a superior tandem to Harrison and Wayne. They both caught 100+ balls for 1400+ yards last year. As far as the respective situations of each tandem I think everybody would say that Harrison and Wayne's situation is much more conducive to success than Boldin's and Fitzgeralds.

So in a vacuum just judging by talent you'd have to say Boldin and Fitzgerald are superior. You have a shaky o line in Arizona a non existant running game and they switched QB's during the year. Whereas in Indianapolis you have an all pro QB, with some of the best protection in the league largely due to the fact that the play action is so respected because they can run the ball with much more effectiveness.

TO and Glenn are 3rd in my opinion.

I'd take Fitz and Boldin over anyone.
I give a small advantage to Harrison and Wayne.

Just my 0.02.

Good grief. Learn to use the quote function. It isn't that hard.

This is hilarious to me. Bruce had comparable stats to Randle El, but Randle El is a savior and Bruce is done.

What are you 12? The point is I'd take the top 2 over all 4 of yours. Throw in Stokley and it's a runaway. Add a 4th WR and even more so.

Reading comprehension isn't your thing I take it. I said if they understand Martz system. Call me crazy, but I like big WRs.

I'll debate you that the Commanders have 4. I think you've got 1 good WR, 2 so so WRs and 1 guy who is riding the coat tails of being on the Patriots. Again, I'd take Boldin and Fitz over all four of yours.

You asked for talent, not character. Bengals have talent. That includes Henry. He's an idiot.

I gave you too much credit asking if you were 12. My bad. You're 10 right?

:lmao:

If you want to try your luck be my guest. I think you'll find some guys like Edge, Jackson, etc. are good options.

Translation if you think for 1 minute that Washington has the ebst offensive weapons in the NFL across the board you are going to be taken to the woodshed.

Which team has the best 4 WR in the NFL?

Moss
Lloyd
Randle El
Patten

is right near the top.

TO > Moss
Glenn > Llyod
Crayton > Randle El
Witten > Patten

:)

First of all, anyone who believes that either Boldin or Fitz is superior to Harrison has gone mad.

Second, yes, any sane person would take Boldin or Fitz over Wayne, however the very fact that Harrison is at worst the 3rd best WR in football leads me to take Indy's tandem over Arizona's. Now, for the next 10 years, yeah, I'll take Fitz and Boldin.

This one is easy question poll to answer. BOYS are filled bad bad bad intents on them-- put fear of pain into hearts of corner backs safetys and defender coaching staffs across entire leagues and beyond that even.

Hey even them idiots at Extremeskins who drink Snyders drool admit that we gots the best wideout in the NFL!

The battle is for truethfully on who have the second best receivers if my opnion meen something and it due.

For second stroke I gives the nod to them busters inb Arizona. Too bad they got Denny Green coaching at them-- he'll never get them a win of the big dance like Parcells'll give to us next year.

You calling someone else an idiot is priceless stuff.

Today has been a GREAT day on the boards. Some great posts/quotes....

Patten will not be released just because Pasquarelli unbasingly predicts it. The Skins more than any team in the league understand the importance of WR depth after the end of last season.

well Patten is making a little too much to be the 4th receiver

What are you talking about? I think Harrison is better than both Boldin and Fitzgerald, as of right now. But that doesn't mean that the tandem of Harrison and Wayne are better than that of Boldin and Fitzgerald.

I agree Harrison is the 3rd best receiver in the league, but I also put Boldin and Fitzgerald in the top 10. The tandem of Boldin and Fitzgerald is superior to that of Harrison and Wayne. I said nothing of Boldin or Fitzgerald being superior to Harrison individually, nice try though.

No, it's pretty hot out here.

Actually it just means he got lucky and finally said something worth paying attention to.

IMO, Wayne is a top 10 (or at the very least, top 15) WR. It's all about opinion. Fitz and Boldin maybe, even probably will be better once Harrison declines, but I love Harrison's game and the fact that he is one of only two of the elite WRs who doesnt have that "look at me" attitude (the other being Holt).

i voted the Cardinals WR tandem as the best as they are both young and very good. I don't see how you can vote Cowboys when the 2 guys have yet to step onto the field together and actually show they will compliment each other well. I think they will but they haven't showed it yet

I think Glenn and Owens have the potential to be the best tandem in the NFL. For right now I like Harrison and Wyane based on their play together over the last couple of season
