Virtually everything that could go wrong did on the O line. Rivera- is he going downhill or was it lingering effects of the injury. Flo was solid- mostly- and that was enough.
Tucker was not. Johnson- the opposing D coordinators believe they can muscle him and they do. Pettiti- I think worn down was probably the right term- he got overwhelmed at the end. But I think a full off years conditioning and training and learning and he could be good. LA- spotty. BP needs to get on him again about conditioning- he looked like he wore down at the end as well. He shoud still have a couple of good years left. Gurode- this guy is an enigma. Against Carolina he was doing fine - against the Rams he stank. SOme games he did well at center; others he did not. I guess we really cannot count on him as a starter, only a backup. Tucker the same. So we need to get a new Center and maybe a new tackle. Rivera- that situation needs a close evaluation- they guy has a lot of pride so I think he will be better if he CAN BE.

be careful friend soon we may be drawing you over to the darkside:D

I'm already there on Parcells. I loved him when he first got here. And I actually realized what that playoff season was - a fluke, and something that would take a miracle to repeat. But now, I'm sick of him. I was psyched going into this year, with the upgrades we made. And they were all good moves, IMO, I'm still reserving judgement on Rivera, what with the injury and all. But through this year, I've grown fed up with Parcells.

I don't blame our kicking problems on him, I doubt Hoffman would have made any difference in Jose "Shank" Cortez missing chip shots and extra points. I do, however, blame him for not going for the kill, and playing not to lose, instead of to win.

I blame our offensive line problems on Parcells. He knew what he had there. He knew who was backing up BOTH tackle positions. And yet he did nothing. And it ultimately killed us.

I blame our defensive fall-off on him. Before the second Giants game, we had one of the best defenses in the league. We had played some of the best offenses in the league, and SHUT THEM DOWN. What does Parcells do? He claims, that in anticipation of more running from the G-nats, he limited Ellis and Glover's roles in the defense. Fine. Whatever. Except did he not remember us shutting down Tiki before, along with LT and Alexander????? He continued to limit their snaps, and our defense fell off big time against - shocker - the run. That is what I'm most pissed about.

No, no, THIS is what I'm most pissed about. After instituting a brand new defensive scheme, drafting HIS players, bringing back HIS retreads, (who have performed well, don't get me wrong) he has the balls to be UNDECIDED at this point????? If you're going to completely change a team, and for my money this was really the first year of the change, you better damn sure stick around to see that it's completed. Make a GD decision. ****, or get off the pot Bill. THAT is what I'm most pissed about.

P.S.-You'll never get me to come around on Bledsoe, at least not until I have another year to watch him. My eyes know what they see, and they see that you're wrong on that one.

I agree playing conservatively knowing your FG kicker is an even greater liability than the o-line is dumb...

In Fact there isn't anything in your post that I disagree about...except of course Bledsoe and I will bet you a beer on that one...
