Should be OU-NU

As a Sooner fan I'm excited to see this match up!

Throw back to the Big 8 days...

If Taylor Martinez doesn't play it'll be tough for Nebraska.

I hope that is the match up also. It might be the last time these two play each other for a while. Go OU!

That was a lot worse OU team and a lot better Nebraska defense. OU lost 5 or 6 games last year. They barely even made a bowl.

You should probably check out our pass defense stats from this year. Last year we were not even in the top 40 in pass defense. This year we are 2nd.

Not to mention, last year we were 2nd in overall defense, while this year we are still 8th. So lets not act like our defense is completely different, when in all actuality, we are still just as good as last year.

Lets be realistic, you guys have thrown insane amounts in B12 play, with over 46 pass attempts a game. If you believe you are going to come into the game and throw, throw, throw on our defense, then I think you will be sorely mistaken.

The one thing that does intrigue me is that YPC stat your defense has given up. While you are 2nd in rush defense during B12 play, you have faced nearly 50 less carries total than any other team. With that, you have allowed 4.4 YPC, which is 3rd worst in B12 play, only beaten by KSU and Kansas.

And even more, overall, you only have the 63rd best rush defense in the country.

Oklahoma will gain 282 pass yards and 136 rush yards
Nebraska will gain 141 pass yards and 224 rush yards

Final score OU 28 NEB 24

just a shot in the dark

One of the worst things about the Big 12 setup was that OU/NE did not happen every year.

Congratulations OU and Nebraska.

Long year for the Horns. Looking forward to next year. Who ever wins, represent the Big 12 well.

Stats don't always say that much. Especially with teams that have 100 plays like OU does. I think the changes OU's made on defense to a 3-3-5 defense was a really solid adjustment. Just look at what he did against a team that runs a similar system to Nebraska in Baylor. They did almost nothing on offense till it was 59-10 or something like that. Now unlike Baylor, Nebraska does have a defense so I expect this to be a competitive game.

OU thrives against teams with No balance on offense and a defense that struggles.

At least Nebraska has a solid defense. If they can get big plays in the passing game they will win. If not OU will win this one.

Key for Nebraska is do what you do on defense and stay balanced on Offense.

Key for OU is getting an early lead and force Nebraska to throw.

Don't forget that new wrinkle Wilson threw in. That new diamond formation they are running and passing out of is really giving defenses some fits.

Going to be a good game.

Nebraska's agenda coming in to the 2010 football season:
REDemption 0:01!!!!! Show those blind refs and those big bad bullies from Texas who's boss!!!!!!
0 for 1
National Championship
0 for 2 (Losses to Texas and Texas A&M)
Big 12 Championship
Hopefully 0 for 3 (Go OU)
Great news Nebraska! Y'all won't have to come to Texas anymore!

I think I'm going to Charlotte for FSU-VA Tech so I'll have to miss OU-Neb. I'm excited to see the ACC, but man I'm going to hate missing the Big 12 Championship.
