Yup, we need to pick up a bruiser for the back field. A big running back that can move the pile. I dont really see any big backs with any speed in the draft other than Robinson that only goes 220. our biggest back is Rico at 215. I think a one-year deal with Derrick Henry could work if he was reasonable and wanted a chance at a ring. Some will say he’s done, but he would do well with our line. Thoughts?

This is a very good draft for RBs. Bigsby and Charbonnet are very tough runners that can also make big plays. 3rd rounders even. Good year to grab a quality RB in the 3/4 round.

I heard this guy is available. Probably wouldn't cost much, either.

The best back for speed isDevon Achane. 5’9 185 4.28 soeed. Former track man who can take it to the house at any time.
Yeah but we don't need any small RB's. Who is going to get the 12 TD's left off the field from Zeke not being here. Unless MM can scheme some open holes from the OL.
May as well use the slightly smaller Turpin. Unless Achane can return KR's and PR's as well. that would be a great pick up.

The one thing we should NOT do is draft someone because they compliment Pollard well.

Pollard may very well not be here after this season.

Just draft the best back you can when the time is right.

They are kind of in a spot where they will need to take one, and probably on the earlier side….which is why I wanted one last year, but it didn’t fall that way.

Sometimes I allow myself to dream of being ahead of position need.

We already have our speed back in Pollard, short need that complement to be affective in his snaps.

The back/s they draft should have absolutely nothing to do with Pollards skill set.

He isn’t likely to be here after this season, and no one should be rooting for us to pay him long term. If they are going to do that, do it now and save the cap space.

This is very likely to go the way Schultz did.

There was a time when we drafted Felix Jones over Rashard Mendenhall because we already had Marion Barber. Very much the wrong reason.

NO on Henry seriously trades and big contracts that the answer,., sorry get real, FB or big back at vert minimum to be lead for smaller back, period. Please stop all of you with big trade ideas, especially with older players with huge contracts. sorry, its not how the NFL Cap and team roster building works. could just keep Zeke at reduced cost if that all we need one that bad..

Henry will be a Titan or be traded to a team who needs a starting RB and can absorb that cap hit we have 5.5 in dead cap on zekes old deal, have 10mil on pollards FT, have malik, Dowdle and Jones....jeez how many more backs and their contracts can we add..LOL
