The best back for speed isDevon Achane. 5’9 185 4.28 soeed. Former track man who can take it to the house at any time.
He’s too similar to Pollard.

I love him as a player but he’s not an ideal fit for us.

BWAAAAAAA!!!!!

On Tuesday night, Elliott had the opportunity to score some easy fantasy points when the Cowboys were at the 1-yard line in the fourth quarter. The Ravens defense ended up stopping Elliot on three consecutive plays before the Cowboys decided to throw it to Amari Cooper for a TD on fourth down.
One guy on the radio said zeke is actually a quiet average to below average short yardage back statistically. I don’t have access to any advanced stats to verify that but matches the eye test

Its a fact. All you have to do is watch the games. His biggest problem is predictability. Cant get to the outside so the defense knows he is going right up the middle every time. Cant make anyone miss so he is 100% dependent on the Oline getting a push.

The back/s they draft should have absolutely nothing to do with Pollards skill set.

He isn’t likely to be here after this season, and no one should be rooting for us to pay him long term. If they are going to do that, do it now and save the cap space.

This is very likely to go the way Schultz did.

There was a time when we drafted Felix Jones over Rashard Mendenhall because we already had Marion Barber. Very much the wrong reason.

Not sure Mendenhall would have been great shakes either. Actually he was very pedestrian...

Your point is taken, but another name please... Rashard Mendnhall?

Yup, we need to pick up a bruiser for the back field. A big running back that can move the pile. I dont really see any big backs with any speed in the draft other than Robinson that only goes 220. our biggest back is Rico at 215. I think a one-year deal with Derrick Henry could work if he was reasonable and wanted a chance at a ring. Some will say he’s done, but he would do well with our line. Thoughts?
those big backs have lost their cache. today, a TE can provide the blocks.

Derrick Henry showed signs last year of slowing down as the year went on. We need fresh legs not a step backwards for a ton of $.

I heard this guy is available. Probably wouldn't cost much, either.

He would be a great back for inside the 5 yard line

Do not draft a 1 trick pony RB.... TP does fine on short yardage just like most backs..If your OL gets stuffed your in trouble a 225 RB is not bulldozing a 300 DT.... Get fresh legs that can gain yards in all situations and be used in passing.
