That was what they did in our 13-3 year ........ and we lost our momentum and fell flat.

We won a weak division. Still an amazing job with non divisional teams we beat but it is what it is. I'm not sure the players we would rest would want to. They know what's ahead of them. I think they want to end the season on a high and start the new season strong.

No this is incorrect. Sea loses to STL next week and we win and we get the bye

So we have to win to get a bye. So the game means something? We play at noon, which sucks, cuz we won't know the outcomes of those games. So I would like to play to win and do our part to get a real bye.

We won't have a bye week this time for players to slough off to Cabo. Oh, and no Jessica Simpson this time either.....

Don't disagree with the premise .. But "they" was a different team... Different coaching staff etc..
I understand your point .. But that's really Apple vs oranges

Go check the playoff generators, that isn't true. Win or lose, and we would still get the bye in that case.

The three way tiebreaker settles all three seeds? They don't use it only to settle the top seed and then use the two way tiebreakers to determine seeding between the remaining two teams?

I have no idea how it breaks down, but we don't come out favorably in the tie breakers.

Technically we could become the 1st seed if Green Bay and Detroit tie (and Arizona loses out).

.

If Green Bay and Detroit tie next weekend and Seattle wins their final two games, then Dallas would get the #1 seed by beating Washington. It won't matter if Arizona wins or loses next week if those other things happen. It is very unlikely that the Packers and Lions tie. The odds are Dallas will be the #3 seed.
