Barham has made more explosive plays for sure.

Downs’ value is probably less noticeable, but he’s doing good as well… especially considering our pass rush is awful.

Barham based on expectations. Downs has been very good as advertised.

Barham has made more explosive plays for sure.

Downs’ value is probably less noticeable, but he’s doing good as well… especially considering our pass rush is awful.

I think everyone thought downs was gonna be ed reed right away in terms of splash plays, the expectations put on him in pre season were insane.

Maybe he'll eventually be a big playmaker. For now though he's been very solid, in terms of being where he's supposed to be, not making mistakes ect. It's nice to have, especially with the addition of porter Jr now.

Love Downs but his position is less noticeable and always will be unless he is ballhawking unbelievably or blowing up everything in the secondary. Barham is doing great, I like both of them, so far. Hope they both work out. I think Downs will be judged on hype too much which is unfortunate. (I was one that wanted him from the get-go too!)

Downs may eventually (and hopefully) be great one day. But any honest guy will tell you he that hasn’t been anything special up to this point.

Downs had some good reps in coverage. The issue is similar to Porter’s first game where if he’s got his guy locked the ball gets thrown somewhere else. He’s also been a pretty good tackler.

Downs hasn’t done anything and neither has Lawrence. Shoulda traded up for Bailey. Barham is better than both combined btw

Yeah, him coaching Porter isnt something that shows up on the stat sheet, but its huge. He's such a student of the game im sure hes regularly helping the others get in position and anticipate what coming. There's no way to measure that.

Downs is doing a lot on the backside that isnt flashy, barham gets more flash bc of his position.
