Biggest disappointment this season (besides Dak)

What? He had a sprained MCL in the first game of the season, then the concussion. I don’t think he was ever close to 100% in any game this season.
The two most disappointing things:
1. The disproportionate rash of injuries to our team from the jump. At full strength, you’d expect the defense to go through an adjustment period with Zimmer even at full strength. Once the flies started dropping, well…..
2. Allowing us to start the season without a run game. It just can’t happen again. I like Rico, but he isn’t the answer this team needs in the backfield. Dak MUST have an effective run game to be successful. If he’s got a real RB1, he’s a top 5-7 QB in the league. If not, it’s a problem.

1. Not participate in Free Agency.
2. Drafting to fill needs instead of best player available.
Both are the responsibility of the Owner, President and GM. I wonder who is responsible for those 3 positions for the Cowboys.
We have fans worried about RB, WR2, DT, etc, etc. We need to be more concerned with who our are President, GM and CEO are.

Disappointment presupposes positive or high expectations. I haven’t had any for this team in many years.

I think paying Dak what Jerry paid him was nuts because Dak is not a QB who can carry a team. With a great supporting cast he is maybe the 10th best QB in the league.
We'll when you pay him the most of any QB in the league you will not have a strong supporting cast. See Dee is a top 3 Wide Out, but what else do we have on offense? The answer is not much.
We are turning into the old Detroit Lions when they had Megatron and Stafford, except Stafford has arm talent Dak can only dream about. That team won nothing but those two really had some nice stats. Megatron retired with lots of catches and a ton of disappointment. Cee Dee will have a similar wasted career. Maybe he can a ring in his 30s playing on his next team, if his body holds out.
Dak will end up like Romo if he's lucky. Great family and a broadcaster with millions in the bank, but no Super Bowl appearance.
Jerry will just at some point fade away and the team will be sold. The fan base deserves better then this. I am 69 years old. I won't see another championship sadly.

Biggest disappointment was watching all the wasted effort and sacrifice by Parsons and the other players.
Good news is the Commanders finally have themselves a really good franchise QB that's just going to get better. He has mobility, he has a helluva arm, accuracy and he looks like everyone else is moving in slow motion. He's going to be a problem for years to come.

It's just sad how far this team has fallen! The older Jerry gets the dumber he gets. Signing Dak was the all time low. He's scared to let Dak and McCarthy walk when they both should of been run out of town.

I'll go a different direction and say it's all the injuries sapping whatever potential the team had. Just imagine if they had stayed healthy the first couple of months, maybe this is a different year...granted they still have issues but they lost somewhere in the top 5 in terms of games due to starter injuries

Very OVERRATED TE and the only reason his name is heard is because he kisses up to Dak like no other.
Too slow and if you want my advice the Shoon Man has a larger natural talent base than Fergie.

Before this season I truly believed that they were victims of just bad coaching. You had a head coach who coddled the locker room and that's why no one showed up in the playoffs. The team was just a new coaching staff and a couple of players away.
Well I wrong. This team is putrid in every aspect. A complete joke of an organization filled with prima donnas that can't wait for the season to end to go sell their brands. Only new ownership can change the awful culture.
