Tolbert deserves consideration. He'd make a great 4th WR.
which kind of foreshadowed how bad the DL wasMy vote is Guyton as well.
Has athletic traits but gets beat up in pass protection.
There’s still
Hope, but remember the glowing reports from training camp about how he was stifling the Dallas def line…..
Lamar Jackson right?Joe Burrow
Lamar Alexander
Josh Allen
All three of those guys have the heart of a Lion and advanced skills sets. There is a reason they are called Franchise QBs. They make lesser players much better. They inspire other players to play better. No one doesn't think the Cowboys wouldn't be a playoff team if they had just one of the 3 named above as their starting QB.
Kinda funny not one Dak post and here you are whining about something that doesn’t appear yetDak hating fans are by far the worst. Can't go anywhere and enjoy anything Cowboys without hearing your ridiculous blame and over-dramatized complaints.
It’s not a Dak thread even if he’s number 1Adding "besides Dak" in the title pretty much tells you the OP's #1 reason for blame for this season and faulty team. Let's quit messing around with #2s, #3s, etc. We all know who is the #1 blame.
No one thought he was a number 1. That's fantasy. They thought he could contribute. The fact that the FO thought he was a number 1 back just shows you everything you needed to know about this team coming into the season. That is the disappointing thing.
Ok.No one thought he was a number 1. That's fantasy. They thought he could contribute.
You are more than welcome. Thanks though.
The Cowboys FO did not view Zeke as a RB1. Not even close. He was the short yardage specialist. The 3rd and 1 or ball on the one yard line guy.The fact that the FO thought he was a number 1 back just shows you everything you needed to know about this team coming into the season. That is the disappointing thing.
Again he received the majority of the carries early in the season. The Cowboys believed in Zeke. Stop it. Why do you think Zeke started complaining he never saw himself as a short yardage back. How can you have a short yardage back when don’t have a starter. The Cowboys never thought much of Dowdle. He made less money then Zeke. The Cowboys FO did not view Zeke as a RB1. Not even close. He was the short yardage specialist. The 3rd and 1 or ball on the one yard line guy.
They did when they signed him, as Balt pointed out he did get starter reps until his production couldn't justify the reps any longer. The Cowboys FO did not view Zeke as a RB1. Not even close. He was the short yardage specialist. The 3rd and 1 or ball on the one yard line guy.
Yes, that is exactly what it said & what it means. But the point was to not talk about the #1 disappointment. Everyone but you went along with that.Adding "besides Dak" in the title pretty much tells you the OP's #1 reason for blame for this season and faulty team. Let's quit messing around with #2s, #3s, etc. We all know who is the #1 blame.
Don't mention that loser. Not that it is his fault, but Overshown's injury.
That was the problem. You can get a lot of big strong guys who can push a pile for a lot less. When the team is strapped for dollars Zekes contract was excessive. No one would have paid him what we did. It just made no sense. The Cowboys FO did not view Zeke as a RB1. Not even close. He was the short yardage specialist. The 3rd and 1 or ball on the one yard line guy.
