Biggest surprise on Defense?

For me it has been Jeremy Mincey. With 6 sacks and steady play and a strong leader for this group.
He has exceeded my expectations

Has to be Hitchens. Who would have thought that the "reach" 4th rounder would have such a huge impact on this team?

But there's also Rolando McClain. Who would have guessed he would regain his sanity and turn into a baller?

Tyrone Crawford has turned into a beast 3-Tech as well. Lots of surprises on defense this year that have kept us from sucking.

I agree on Mincey, has brought a lot to the table. But where we would be without Hitchens, Lee out, Mclain in and out, Durant out and Carter has missed some games.

Mincey is a good choice. He plays the most snaps of anybody on the DLine.

Crawford deserves mention

I don't mention him because you had soooo many people saying how good he looked. I think Romo or someone asked who was going to be the biggest surprise and he said Crawford. At some point that raises expectations for a player.
