I am in the minority but I think the guy deserved.

I dislike the Patriots but Belichick did a really good job keeping his team focused week after week among constant distractions and teams giving them their best shot week after week.

If your team goes undefeated, you should win COTY.

Sanity you have not abandoned this forum.

Thank you. :D

Whether or not the HC can control his staff or not has absolutely no bearing on the rule. How hard is that to follow? Your logic is patently absurd.

If there is a rule that states that only the head coach can call the time-out, than this means it is the referees responsibility to enforce. If they have no ability to distinguish between the head-coach and others, than they wouldn't have made the rule in the first place. Anything other than that is just plain nonsense and gibberish.

Just because the head of officiating made this remark means absolutely nothing and he is obviously going to defend his refs in a situation such as this. Further, the situation was intensified, meaning that the play had way more bearing on the game. They needed to pay more attention, but they didn't. Convenient I might add...

So when he had defended close calls that went in favor of the Cowboys was it legit or just covering up? Not even the Ravens have complained about the TO issue they knew what took place and accpeted the fact that they called the TO and the ref did what he should have done.

That is laughable.

Because some dont agree with the Spygate issue... you post that nonsense.

I will just consider the source.

You do that ;) .

I never said it was because of Spygate.

Cowboys fans this year seem totally obsessed with the New England Patriots and it all stems from our lost to them earlier in the year.

You see thread after thread spawning with different scenarios on how we can or should have beat the Patriots.

This thread is another manifestation of some Cowboys fans not able to move on.

Typically, Eagles and Commanders exhibit this type of behavior, not fans of the most successful franchises in NFL History.

It wasn't a close call.

They targetted the officiating overall and 4 of their players got fined. WHat do you expect them to do? Them not making particular plays has no bearing on whether the referees sucked or not.

Be fair. It's not like this Bellichick discussion has sprouted out of thin air. It's reported that he won COY today, so it's a hot topic that is going to bring people's opinion's out. I think your obsession fear can probably be set aside due to the fact that the Patriots aren't in our conference, much less our division, and they are likely to experience a severe drop-off in play in a few years. When that day comes, I suspect you'll see less of the Patriots discussed, because noone will care.

As I said the Raven have no issue with the fact the TO was taken. The only one are a few who want the Pats to lose so bad that they will find excuses after every game to accusing them of cheating or the refs playing favorites. The Ravens called a TO and got it you want to cry about go for it but it is what it is.

Right back at ya ;)

You dont know me... as I dont know you.
But if you did know me then you would know that I am jealous/envious of no one or nothing. What I want... I get. If I dont get it. Its either out of mind or a goal to get it.

With that said. I actually like the Patriots and what they have accomplished. I think its a great thing. They are a team that has "It". I like Brady. Yes, I even like Moss. Welker is something else... there are others.

BUT... that doesnt change my opinion on what I think of this. What went down - WENT DOWN.

Again... if it was the Dallas Cowboys... this story would be lead in to just about EVERY SportsCenter show from then til the end of SB... then they would start up again in spring training.

Let me ask you guys something.

How many ex-Cowboys does the media have to hire for you guys not to think the media is biased towards the Cowboys?

I bet Cowboys Coaches and Players make up more of the media than any other team.

I would agree about their past seasons and success. This year no, 1st game of the season vs. the Jets and what they did was not so much for that game as it was for the next meeting between the 2 teams. Some coaches who have talked about what the Pats did did not think it was that big of a deal or much of a help but it was against the rule and they were caught and punished. It may not be the punishment you or I like heck I think it should have caused them to forfeit the Jets game as well as taking the 1st pick and fining the coach.

Ex-Cowboys as in not playing anymore... there is no juice to their stories. Its all about today.

So with your post am I to assume that IF it was the Cowboys that it would have ended the same way? and then completely dropped?

Be honest.... you are under oath :D

Thank you.

They should have forfeited the Jets game therefore having no chance of going undefeated in a complete regular season.

Thanks Doom. You are the best.

In all serious though, I know most will disagree but I think it would have went down the same exact way.

Now, you would have had your Skin Bayless' of the world continuing to talk about it, but I think it would have went down the same.

I try to be fair in my opinion. I agree what they did was wrong. What I don't agree with is this mindset that the league and the officials are trying to help the Pats win games. Teams like Dallas, Washington, Philly and NY do not play the Pats that often heck we have only faced them 4 times in our history so what the Pats were found guilty of had no effect on teams like ours or the other NFC East teams. The Pats are just simply a very good team and when teams have had a chance to pull off the win they have done things to hurt themselves not the refs or anyone else.

You left off this one.

Only HC to get caught and fined for cheating.

Dont let facts get in the way.
You want to list the good... you have to be willing to list the bad.
