I’m no fan of the talent evaluator….if he truly is giving that up then yeah he may be what you need to bring discipline.
Yeah, that would be the unknown......... what kind of control does he want?

As much as I think Belichick would be better than McCarthy, you can also see how the two could butt heads massively and this thing could turn even more dysfunctional than it is right now in Cowboys Land.

I think Philly and Dallas offer very similar opportunities for Bill. Loaded rosters with dysfunctional coaching. Both are ready to make runs in the NFC as soon as next year. With Dallas, you have to deal with Jerry, with Philly, you have an instant power struggle with Howie. Those are the complicating factors, but if you want to coach a contender, they are contenders.

There's a lot of smoke around Atlanta, but I don't think that's a fit for Belichick. No QB and a gutted out defense. They have plenty of offensive talent if a young OC wants to show his stuff, but they aren't an instant contender who will take you to the promised land and settle your grudge against Brady. The Falcons are probably 2 rebuilding years away from that at the fastest, and BB doesn't have 2 years to burn.

It could. I don’t believe he wants to give it up I think he’s saying whatever he can to get hired. As Mike did. I might risk the potential dysfunction though.

He’s begging through the media and praises jerry, stop this nonsense
lol ok the BB you want had control over everything, you think he gets that here...when did you see Kraft's weekly interviews about the upcomming gameplan/players in out..hell BB wouldn't talk to the media about he damn sure wont like the GM doing it..unless he is washed and ready for CLub Cowboys in which case the results will be the same...

Now........ I am under no delusions that Belichick is still the guy who won 6 SBs. I get that Brady was a big part of those wins.

But if I am sitting in The Star today, desperately trying to figure out how I can win a SB in the next 2-3 years while I am still alive, you'd be a moron to conclude that McCarthy gives you a better shot than Belichick.
Spot on.

I was thinking that as well. But he will bring discipline and structure.
he cant as long as Jerry is accesible, thats the problem no coach will be able to bring that here until the Owner/GM removes himself from the day to day game play...its to easy for the players to go around him when they know Jerry likes them and will replace the coach over them.

Jerry will be accessible just like Kraft was. Kraft isn’t some behind the scenes guy he’s very visible. But those players knew it went through Bill. He’s a 6 time winner. That brings respect. Trust me I get it….Jerry is the issue. But it’s about seeing can we overcome Jerry…and maybe the greatest coach of all time can do it?

Bringing Bill in would definitely have a “feel good” affect on the cowboys. Rumor has it, Jerry called him at halftime. But I highly doubt Bill will work for Jerry. Bill called Parcels and he told him not only don’t do it, but hell no.
